12 Labours of Herc III: Girl Powaa is the follow-up to the game about the loafer Hercules, his faithful babe, and their slaves. There are practically no gameplay changes contrast to the first two installments, save for the actuality that Hercules' precious has learned to grow fruit-bearing shrubs from saplings. The protagonist is now a sheila rather than a bloke, nonetheless the level count resides at 45 the same as in the previous predecessors. The cutscenes are just as difficult to follow, as they continue to rely on rhyming conversation. The graphics are good, as expected, and the orchestral harmonious style continues to be consistent. Although, the game feels a bit more difficult; this version presents levels that become unsolvable if the incorrect method is taken. Also absent are the boss levels with their quirky ultimatums. While earning the achievements takes some time, it isn't an excessive quantity. All in all, it is essentially a continuation to the second game, just with a woman lead and, in my perspective, not entirely as successful. 👍Strengths. +Gameplay remains very straightforward and instinctive. The objective is to be in charge of Hercules' laborers, issue orders, and finish the level's goal(s) within the assigned time. +Soundtrack is very satisfying and humble. +Graphics are beautifully drawn and stylized; a feast for the peepers . 👎Weaknesses. -Short length. -The game can be very monotonous at times and gets dull quickly. 🏁Synopsis. Suggested for anyone wanting to simply relax and pass a couple of hours without being bogged down in complex gameplay mechanics. It is not fully as good as its forerunner, but anyone who likes those won't be mistaken here. Regardless, this game isn't designated to serve as a sequence to the series! 🎯7/10
I've played a lot of time management games over the years. All of the games from 1 to 8 in this series are my favorites. I revisit them all at least once a year. It's great that they give you the option to play 3 different types of difficulty, so if you just want a relaxed playthrough, you can do that. It's strange that the price went up so high with the following games. Maybe they are under new management? Anyway, if the price for the newer games ever gets low enough I'll give one or more of them a try. I just hope they play as well as the games I already have.
