It's an easy city builder reminiscent of the original Sim City, though even simpler than that 30-year-plus-old game. I'd recommend it for pre-teens; it can get repetitive, and each of its levels is simplistic. Don't expect to get much playtime out of it, but it's pretty straightforward and fun.

Quick Summary: This is a very enjoyable game! I love the different starting bonuses. It gives a range of how you want to play each scenario. Whenever I went into the red I knew why, and I was able to restart the scenario without being mad that I wasted a bunch effort. Very fun, engaging, and not stressful. 1849 has one of the worst soundtracks I have EVER heard. I sincerely endorse this game! [Played with all DLC]
