Kind of a reverse tower defense, where you go on the offensive with your squad, planning routes, composition and active power up usage. I'd say it's closer to a puzzle game more than anything else. Get it on sale if it truly tickles your fancy, but I do think there are better strategy games out there. This one kind of drags on with the same mechanics for a long time and just leaves it at that, and the campaign isn't long or interesting enough to particularly care about it. Still leaving it as a positive because I have played truly awful games, and this is not one of those, it's just a little dull.

Flip the Tower Defense genre on its head and be the creeps trying to make their way through the tower-defended maze alive. If you like that sound of that, this is an easy recommend.

Doesn't run well on Windows 11, but pretty good fun. Considerable challenge too, trying to juggle abilities, placing them properly and choosing which to use at the right time. Not bad.

Interesting concept. You play as the force trying to get through a tower defense map. Background is alien wreckage has hit Earth, and you are to investigate. Decent enough. Might want to wait for a discount.
