it might be a good purchase. i would say this is a perfect mini game u can play for a few hours on a random day after work with youtube or a stream going on the 2nd monitor. u ofc need to pay attention to the game but if u upgrade ur towers u dont :D pretty chill game i think its a good purchase if u compare quality to price but its not something u are gonna play for many days. this might be 1 day game. because its repetitive like all survivor games and this is not at the top. overall good experience :)

I think Astro Looter: Survivor has a lot of potential to become a hidden gem. Right now, it's in a pretty good and playable state, but it needs work. Here's what I've found so far: GUI issues: The upgrade boxes bleed below the user’s screen. Hero differentiation: The heroes don’t feel visually distinct enough from one another. Adding some variety to the color palette or incorporating more personality into the character models would help tremendously. It doesn’t need to be Overwatch, but something beyond the "Unreal Asset Store" look would be beneficial. In-game UI: The user interface on the field needs more refinement. At a glance, new players can’t easily distinguish what the icons represent, especially when things get busy. Lack of communication: The last update was in late 2024. While I see that the devs are streaming the game often on the store page, there’s a real lack of communication about upcoming updates. Adding a button linking to a Discord community hub would go a long way in keeping the player base engaged and informed. There’s so much more I could discuss about player progression and the drive to keep playing past the 3-hour mark without feeling like there’s nothing more to offer. As I said, this game has the potential to be something great. The tower defense aspect of a survivor-like game is unique, and no one else has tried this formula yet. However, if the game doesn’t receive serious development and a marketing push, it’s only a matter of time before another studio "yoinks" this formula and does it better. TL;DR: This game is a definite recommend, but keep your expectations in check.

You're going to get a whole lotta bang for your buck with this title! The game is action packed and great fun with lots of upgrades! The only thing I could say it is could use a little more "weight" if that makes sense to some of the hits and explosions. A good title that if you stick with it gets much more fun as you play at kill the large alien bosses while holding and maintaining a mining operation on the game map. You can't lose out on a 3$ title.

This game looks/feels like specific early-stage spin-off of deep rock galactic survivor. Specifically everything looks just opposite (space/surface against mining). It's quite simple, but rewarding. Space/surface environment looks great, graphics seems to be more realistic. I quite like it, putting turrets manually gives some TD touch, while enemies resemble greedland franchise. Graphics is very good, soundwise, You will have no reason to complain - actually drew my attention some extraordinary good sounding explosions etc. It is quite demanding in area of hardware. Especially when there is many enemies on screen. Difficulty well balanced. The whole game is great balanced, to be true. I found it as a simplified brother of deep rock galactic survivor - for good, quick plays. Space (actually different planets' surfaces) environment. Try it! edit: Some opinions about bugs such as locked moving in one direction etc, were true for a time period. It came to past with patches. Game is really addictive, satisfying, You got some choices witch upgrades of weapons and turrets between missions, as well as Hero with special ability. I very much like this "realistic" style of graphic. Performance is now better after patches. I defin. recommend this game to fans of bullet hells/ TD survivor games!
