Blackout Z offers an interesting premise that blends survival and zombie combat, but it doesn’t quite hit all the right notes. The game’s mechanics are solid, and the concept of scavenging, fortifying, and fending off waves of zombies is engaging, especially in the early stages. The graphics, while not groundbreaking, do a decent job of setting the tone, with a gritty, apocalyptic feel. However, the game falls short in terms of variety and progression. The environments can feel repetitive, and the AI of both zombies and allies tends to be predictable, making gameplay feel somewhat monotonous after a while. The progression system has potential, but it can feel a bit grindy, with some players possibly feeling a lack of incentive to keep pushing forward. The multiplayer aspect is where Blackout Z shines the most, with team-based strategies adding a layer of excitement. But matchmaking issues and occasional connection problems can make this frustrating. Overall, Blackout Z is a solid title for those who enjoy zombie survival games, but it’s not without its flaws. It’s a fun ride for a few sessions, though it might struggle to hold your attention long term if you're looking for deep variety and a polished experience.
