Blood Mall: Retaped can be beaten in less time than an episode of your favorite anime, but it still delivers a creepy, VHS-soaked horror experience. It’s short, eerie, and gets in, scares you, and gets out before you can ask where the nearest exit is.

This game is a remake based off of the original Blood Mall on Itch.io Original: https://olliehall.itch.io/blood-mall While a good portion of this game reuses most of the gameplay mechanics from the original, the textures, gameplay, and visuals have MASSIVE improvements, and there are added sections that weren't from the original to make it a little less predictable. This game is an incredible step-up from the original, and I really enjoyed it. While the game can be finished in pretty much 20 or 30 minutes, 1.99$ is a VERY reasonable price. Even the creator of this game was giving people an opportunity to have their faces plastered on dead bodies in the game. I was one of the people who volunteered to have my face be plastered on one of the dead bodies. Granted my facial expression that I made when I took my picture to be submitted made it hard for me to find where it was in the game, but I narrowed it down to a few dead bodies. Still, I was excited to play this game when it released. :D Overall, this game is a must have for everyone, and I recommend that you tell your friends about it.

I may be a chicken when it comes to horror games, but how could I possibly say no to a 30-minute one that features a damn dinosaur and retro PSX graphics? And, without spoiling anything, I can say that, far from being a letdown, it really impressed me. It’s very well made, with just the right amount of humor without losing the tension at any point. I'll give it a second playthrough to see the little things I missed. Meanwhile you should buy it and play it, yeah, dont let it get any dust in your backlog, its just 30 minutes, maybe 60. Is what it says on the tin. Short length, silly tone, tense encounters. Originally a free game jam game, it's been polished up and expanded for Steam to give context to an upcoming sequel. They polished away a lot of the original's PS1 charm, but I wager the new PS2 style is going to be more cohesive to the sequel's art direction. Deep down in my plums, I feel this would have been better packaged with that sequel, but it's okay as a stand alone release.
