Clicked yes only because I had fun, otherwise this would be a neutral review. Story is whatever, it's there, it can be read, won't offend nor exactly enthuse. 5/10 Translation is, special, so to speak. While Yuki's "No lose intended." from the first game got replaced by "I don't plan on losing.", the rest of the game is translated fairly well, but it drops in quality the farther you progress and you can't not notice the mistranslations and mistakes. Whoever is proofreading this, needs to be fired or have their pay reduced or sth. Onto gameplay, it's a card game, what did you expect? Onto cards, and, well, more Strides, more buffs and some decks like Loro are finally playable, if you pay cash. Also, you now have Vintage, which is a mode, where you can only play cards from the first 7 sets of the pre-reboot Vanguard. It's barebones and frankly, a good, yet obnoxious after some time, challenge. Now onto the elephant the room, the pricing, the game is, like its prequel, overpriced as ♥♥♥♥, it never goes on sale bigger than 10% (seriously, add this to your wishlist and comment how many times you get notified about its discounts), the DLCs never go on sale and you need most of them (don't buy the ones that just give you the cards). Not to mention the Jinki Mukae DLC was free and they made it be paid and the new starter deck bundle only really gives you 1 deck, as the Vyrgalia deck was already in the game for free through a secret code. I can't stress this enough, unless you're an E-♥♥♥♥♥ with an army of simps behind you, CRACK THE DLCs, it's all a single depot, so it's easy. I have to reiterate, THIS IS A NEUTRAL REVIEW, I only give it thumbs up, because I had fun with the game, despite its flaws and Bushi(t)road shooting its legs off and doing everything they can to screw it over. If you like Vanguard and hate that outside of this and its prequel, there are no English Vanguard games, then just buy the base game and, for the love of god, CRACK THE DLCs.

The game has it's issues, the sets are super late, it takes two months to release any updates, there's no new story content.. ever. but it's fun in a very depressing way

i recommend it if your a vanguard fan. do not get me wrong its overpriced and for dlc its not worth the money however i have no where irl to play vanguard so dear days 2 hits the spot for me

-very fun game to play for a tcg game -very well animated -played the game for the nostalgia and its unique TCG format -flaws being the price and the insane amount of issues when trying to pvp with a friend which has kinda ruined my experience for playing this game cant wait for the next update but please fix ur game

Good game but need improvements on Rank ladder, matchmaking, just please remove region lock and enable crossplay so i can play with people with the same skills or rank as mine and also play with players on other regions as well. 良いゲームですが、ランク ラダーやマッチメイキングに改善が必要です。地域ロックを削除してクロスプレイを有効にして、同じスキルやランクを持つ人とプレイできるようにし、他の地域のプレイヤーともプレイできるようにしてください。
