Alright. Clawfish is done and dusted. I think this qualifies as a cozy game and its completely casual gameplay can be completed in a half hour without any sense of urgency. There isn't really much game here, so I'll keep this review brief. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3507972971 In Clawfish, you catch a water train out to a train station on a set of tiny, linked islands. There are three claw machines on said station where you can use tokens to catch a variety of fish. Each of the claw machines has a different gameplay mechanic as far as the controls are concerned. As you catch the fish, they are released back into the water. And you get a little description for each type of fish as well. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3507972949 Additionally, there are buckets of water with fish trapped in them. You will dump them back into the sea as well. Beyond all that, there are a few interactable objects and a bird you can speak with. And finally, there is a boat to travel between the three islands that make up the station. The graphics are pretty much all soft tones and definitely carry a peaceful vibe; while the music is completely chill and just adds to the overall cozy setting. It's nicely done. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3507972914 After you've wrapped everything up, the train comes back, you jump on, the train departs with a final musing on the station's peaceful nature; and that is the game. This was 89 cents recently on Steam, which is fine for the content IMO. Which ultimately is just a peaceful and pleasant little half hour distraction. Enjoyable for what it is, easy enough to one and done. I see no reason not to give it a look. easy little game to play and beat in under an hour. my playtime would have been less, but i stopped halfway through to take a break before realizing the game has no saving, so i had to start over. there are a few machines that say "coming soon" but it looks like the game hasn't been worked on in a few years. still worth it if you can grab it on sale, but i really hope the dev can return to this some day and surprise us with an update! thanks for making such a cute and chill little game :D

It is a cute, short game I enjoy. There is just something compelling about returning these fish to the flood waters; I guess that same thing as other fishing games. That said, I accidentally hit "Q" on my 29th fish and was completely restarted. No idea why a restart quick key was included, but at least warn me before I accidentally hit it! So you be careful, dear reader, because no matter how short it does not feel nice to have wasted time.
