It seems like a pretty capable program, and from what I've been seeing of the progress being made, it'll be quite a powerful piece of software for anyone curious about hobby electronics, or for anyone who wants to try prototyping their design in a virtual space before attempting a physical build. I look forward to future updates!\
This has been an excellent and clean tool to quickly test designs on a breadboard before actually committing to a prototype on the breadboard itself. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that more features will eventually be included, such as: an osilloscope, motors, servos, actuators, ESP32, and so on... I'd also like to see hotkeys to quickly jump between parts, wires, and colours. Otherwise, Crumb is on the right track to be a fun and useful tool for beginners and experts alike.
Really good simulation software for 8.99 USD in comparison to other simulation products that are insanely expensive. There's also an android version of this simulator. Of course with those other simulation products there are more features but this is just one guy doing it for the love of the game and it makes learning electronics more accessible to people who do not want to spend 100+ dollars on simulation software just to learn the basics and how to use common components. With this software you can easily follow youtube tutorials and gain knowledge without having to spend money on components, equipment such as multimeters, an oscilloscope and DC/AC power supplies. The cost of equipment, tools, components and breadboards all together add up while this is just 8.99 USD, without the risk of blowing the cap off a capacitor, burning an IC, being electrocuted etc. If you're more experienced and consider yourself more of a professional, this software still has its uses and those uses will only expand once the new update is out based on what the announcements demonstrate. Just don't expect this to be like a 900 dollar simulation software (NI Multisim etc)
