I think this game has a ton of potential Right now it mostly needs a more professional quality translation, but once that is done I can see this game becoming something really special The ability for community made content to become full official content allows for some huge community impact

This is a really good lovecraft rpg game. Theres 2 things this game does realy good: 1) The game is divided into modules the only thing that carrys inbetween are your investigators and companions you unlocked from the modules. Inbetween the modules you can have your characters do a variety of events to heal hp, sanity or improve stats; each having their own risks and oportunities. This essentialy makes a realy good base to make a lot of diffrent and immersive campaigns. 2) This feels like a DnD game, best point is the combat. Theres a ton of things you can do before and during the fights and every system related to it feels realy good even the crafting. These fights end up being very tatical while they are balanced in the idea of you being as vulnerable as them which can lead to hard but fun moments. And ofc, all this is acompanied by real nice pixel art, music and a lot of content in each module. I had no problems with the english translation, but this is a indie chinese game so it is bound to have them. I absolutely recommend this game to RPG fans.

Adventure/RPG game that desperately needs translation. from what little wasn't ruined with bad AI voice overs and awkward gameplay and no explanation on what to do, there's so many unique mechanics and branching stories here. buy on sale.

Okay, I'll update this later but so far: This games shows a great of potential, and it's already being a fantastic experience. The game is organized in several modules (adventures) which (I believe) are pretty much independent from each other. However, at the time of writing this I have just done the intro and the first module (with almost all endings). The ending really moved me, and it was totally climatic and made the story come together. What worried me about this game was the english localization, and I have both good news and bad news. The first module's translation (intro) was a bit sloppy and there were some typos. And a couple of books in the library (the space from which you embark on missions) are in chinese, so I don't know what they say. However, the first module had no problems and was typo-free. And overall, it was all understandable and I didn't miss anything even with the typos. So, it's not as bad as it may seem. Only real problem is that actualizations and content take longer to get released in english, but there's still much to do. I recommend this game since it has a lot of available content and since it's in development, most problems will likely be fixed. Besides, you'll have a lot of content by the end of the development. And a LOT of achievements to get while you wait (like, over a 100). Update: The translation when fighting the sloppy woman (Nole) is missing, so anticlimatic :(

my comfort game fr fr The pixel art is incredibly beautiful, and the music is atmospheric and immersive. There are multiple points in the game where I stopped playing just to admire the art and listen to the music. I also personally liked the storyline in these games since it combines my faves: eldritch horror and mystery. Something about the aesthetic and the gameplay flow made it really comfy to me. Of course, I wouldn't recommend this game if you don't really like slightly stilted or awkward English. Imo the English translation isn't completely unreadable and it could even be genuinely beautiful and lyrical; still, it's not completely professional. Some modules have more awkward English than others (Moonshade and Far Hope Park is especially noticeable compared to the earlier modules like Soladnit and Tonson) though not so awkward that you'll have no idea what's going on in the plot. There are often misspellings and there was at least one instance of unchanged Chinese characters in a character's name. Also, one character got her name changed halfway through the storyline, which honestly threw me off at first and made the story more confusing. All in all you'll have to get used to it. Hopefully the devs can improve their English translation even more, especially since they're so dedicated from what I've seen. There are also some formatting issues (especially in Moonshade, since it's an entirely text-based module), where text "overflows" the paragraph/text box it's in and simply doesn't show up since there's not enough space. You can just scroll down to reveal the missing text for Exploration modules like Soladnit and Lies and Fraud, but you can't for Moonshade and specific narrative sections. This can make following the story confusing, and I found myself getting annoyed at times. Other than that, the game can be overwhelming at first with numerous stats and choices, though I got the hang of it 1 or 2 modules in. Another thing I appreciate is the diversity of the modules, Far Hope Park is unique in its retry gimmick and I felt it to be really refreshing. Cursenday also breaks the pattern of short modules since it's much longer and more expansive, and the English drastically improved imo! I also don't recommend this game if you don't like having luck or randomization as a factor in gameplay. This game operates with a dice system since it wants to emulate TTRPGs, so it uses dice practically everywhere. I love the game though, it's so cozy for me <3 edit: i love constantine. my goal is to now replay all modules with no one else but constantine. if constantine dies at any point in the module i will restart it (not the battle, the module). all healing items will be dedicated to constantine and my investigator will make sure not a single hair of his is scratched. all achievements henceforth shall be dedicated under constantine's name. Atlach wills it.
