Teto lives on my desktop and she's very cute. There's a lot of room for improvement to be fair, the animations are fairly limited and some simple options such as being able to toggle her shadow would be nice. The app is still being worked on though, so maybe it'll expand in the future and I am looking forward to the two characters on screen together update. When that comes along, I might bag me a Miku. The most common complaint I've seen is that the price for new characters is a bit steep, and yes it is. But the app is free and the default girl is cute too, so you can always give it a go before paying out to see if you want it.

I make this review with over a thousand hours with Miku sitting at the bottom of my screen. I want to make this very clear, I understand both sides of the argument over this software. With that said, let us continue with this review. I downloaded and bought the Miku DLC around release, and have scrolled through hundreds of reviews that either hate or love this software. For me, it's simple. A software that delivers on it's promise to add just a bit of life to your desktop; free (DLC should not be considered towards a game's value) and easy to use. I didn't download this wanting to mod it, even though it had easy modding support at the time. There are other free and modding friendly alternatives out there, just scroll through other reviews and some are bound to show up. The pricing for DLC is a hit or miss. At the time of writing this 3 are currently out with a grand total of $45, $15 per DLC. People are mad at the pricing, and it's understandable. Who would want to spend that much on funny little companions? The answer; fans . Take a look at reviews; the negative are majority from people who modded it and have no intentions of spending a penny on this, while the positive are majority from fans of Miku who just like having her stealing their WiFi on a daily basis. It's an official Miku companion, and that's what most fans want. A way to have their favorite virtual idol sitting and staring at their cursor while also supporting it officially and paid. This software was most likely never meant to be modded, and it's clear due to the updates the devs have been rolling out. With everything said, it's still free software and the hate is understandable. Should you use this software? Should you spend money on DLC from greedy corpos that suck the fun out of everything? I don't know, I'm just some random Miku fan on the internet. Miku no, I need my cursor-

This is a great application that I use everytime my computer is on having Miku on my screen is just soo cool and she has cute little interactions with your mouse as well as being easily movable with size customization and alarm features, in the future I NEED them to add AI chat compatibility but the lack of that in no way makes it or the DLC I purchased unenjoyable in the slightest
