Even though people were biaching about one of the mods, Silversunset, they were one of the most helpful people to assist me, and I thank them for that. This product is still usable, because of the community, and it has full set of functions still being able to use in 2025.

Oh boy okay this is a very old piece of software that I used a ton back in the day, only recently have I decided to review every game I have played and I can safely say this was one of the best tools for discord bot making out there. I am unsure how well this software holds up to this day however I did recently give it another shot and it is still just as functional as ever with lots of new features! Huge respect to the developers.. The UI is simple and easy to understand, there are lots of places to go for support should you need it mostly in the discord server. The bots are self hosted which can later be hosted elsewhere (back in the day you could host on glitch.. but I dont think that is a possibility anymore without paying) which I definitely think was a neat feature. I think the biggest problem I have faced comes not from this app but from the way discord has updated.. I found many of my old bots are just not functional in this app anymore which as I say.. I cannot blame the developers for as its truly out of their hands but it does admittedly suck. Lastly I have heard there is a better tool out there which I have not tried yet called "Bot Maker for Discord" so it is probably best that if you are getting into bot development in 2025 to go for that instead :). Discord Bot Maker is so amazing! It is one of the best programs for making discord bots, HOWEVER... It is unfortunately outdated, but it still runs good bots, and there is a good community making modded commands and events for the program, so otherwise, it still is good, but if you're looking for a more updated discord bot maker, I recommend, (Bot Maker For DIscord) BM4D. Thank you.

Discord Bot Maker: A Great Starting Point for Bot Development If you're just starting out in developing Discord bots, Discord Bot Maker is an excellent tool to help you understand how everything works before diving into coding. It simplifies the bot creation process, making it easier for beginners to get a grasp of basic bot functions and commands without needing to write code from scratch. Even though I'm not currently using DBM anymore, I have to credit it for teaching me how things work in Discord bot development. It gave me the foundational knowledge I needed to move forward confidently and start building bots through coding. While it may have its limitations for more advanced projects, it’s a great stepping stone for anyone looking to begin their bot development journey. In short, Discord Bot Maker serves as a solid learning tool, especially for those who want to ease into coding.
