If you're trying to play split-screen with one person using a keyboard and mouse and the other using a controller, you might notice that both control Player 1, with seemingly no way to get Player 2 working, I wanted to play with my daughter and couldn't work it out but found a fix. HOW TO FIX KEYBOARD + CONTROLLER LOCAL CO-OP: 1. Connect your controller and make sure Steam Input is enabled (Steam Library → Right-click game → Properties → Controller). 2. Launch the game. 3. Press Shift + Tab to open the Steam overlay. 4. Open your Steam friends list and access the Remote Play Together interface (at the bottom) 5.Find the controller/input management section. 6. Move your controller from the Player 1 position to Player 2. Enjoy playing together! :)
The game is great, it’s practically a 1:1 copy of the PS3 version. Finally, the franchise is getting the love it deserves, instead of that weak Wii version we used to have on PC. It’s running smoothly and well optimized. I haven't had any crash issues or anything like that. However, the catch is that two songs from the original game were left out of this version (I believe due to copyright issues). The first one is You've Got a Friend in Me , which plays in the main menu . The second one is Grim Grinning Ghosts , which plays in the Sid's Haunted House level in Toy Box mode. However, to fix this, I created a mod that replaces the current version of these songs with the original ones from the PS3/Xbox 360 game.
