As someone who was obsessed with the movie when it came out, I highly recommend this game. The plot is not as close to that of the film because this may have been developed before certain scene changes were applied to the film. However, I think at the same time it adds more details to the story that you do not see in the movie because of the variety of levels. I also had the Wii version growing up and this is SO MUCH better! There are much more levels, collectibles, and unlockables. And best of all, no annoying motion controls! If you love WALL-E or are looking for a good platformer with simple puzzles, this game is perfect for you!
I have been playing this game on and off for like more than 9-10 years. And with 5 100% playthroughs I must say this is such a beautiful game for a masterpiece of a movie. I 100% recommend you to play this if you saw the movie. I find it rlly fun to just wander around as Wall.e and do silly stuff ngl
