Although [Door Kickers 2: Task Force North] has been released, I sprung to buy this on sale. Primarily to play it on my low spec Intel N4500 Laptop & I'm glad I did. Despite it being an old game, the game's design language holds up well & the gameplay loop is addictive if you're a detail orientated individual who loves good ole' SWAT action. The workshop mods are lively in variety, though one can expect it to dwindle overtime as DK2:TFN continues to be updated. Though, I'd like to believe that there will still be a committed mod base for this game to serve those who can't dish the cash to get better specs. While DK2:TFN markets a spec minimum, it's a truly 3D game whilst DK1 is 2D & perhaps better for those with low-end specs. In short, great game to get if you need an offline capable game for your low-spec system.

You're moving people around and telling them where to look. That's the game. And you're trying to puzzle out how to clear rooms when they have unusual shapes or inconvenient door arrangements. Lots of fun. Starts out boring. Good once you can afford better equipment. There are levels that you literally cannot beat until you buy certain things. You HAVE TO LOSE and come back later and that's dumb. The campaigns are really good.

Do you like the planning part of Rainbow Six games, but hate actually participating in the FPS part? This is the game for you.

Amazing and entertaining game. For this game, you have to go to the roster and switch to assault, instead of using the default pointman. The assault type can use MP5 guns which take down bad guys quicker. Using assault the game becomes easier and more fun, as you can take down the bad guys better. And I don't plan at one go, as the position of the enemies will change. I clear the areas step by step, pausing in between, and watching the action.
