Game's okay. If you need to turn off your brain and just grind stuff it's fine. Some of the endless minigames are kinda fun for grinding stats, though when you level up high enough the minigame(s) change, sometimes small changes, sometimes bigger changes. makes it weird when I'm like lvl 9 on a super easy game and then while in the minigame i lvl up to 10, die, and then the game becomes "way harder" to grind for stats. I feel like they should had have an option to choose which version of a minigame you wanna play, with the old version giving less exp on avrg then the harder minigame version, balancing it out. Supposedly it now has online support? I got back on the game to see and look at that, my 20 hours of gameplay/stats deleted and my save gone! I've also had troubles with duck life battles with saves too, tbf idk if i was on my Windows device or cuz i was on Steam Deck but either way, these games are frustrating when it comes to saving. I tried testing online a bits but after the frustration of my stats gone i didn't super care anyway. It's cheap and i completed the main game so I ain't crying over spilled milk over this one. Now one more thing i would like to add to this review as a side note. I think I've played almost every duck life game since the "good old days" of flash and I think they are missing a small but significant detail in their newer games. In the first ducklife, it's closer to a duck raising simulator. They keep trying to make you the player, the duck. It comes off strange, and i think having a nice little duck training sim is still better then being your duck. With ducklife 4 it made sense why they had to do it, but I think they should return to the duck sim part. I haven't played the new one so maybe they changed it there idk. all and all it's a cheap decent waste of your money.

the game is pleasant looking wise and gameplay wise the pros: it is a mix of duck life battle and the classics aka 1 2 4 and maxing your stats is really fun and so is 100% it too which is rather surprising and also I love the duck-tor part which got some laughs out of me. The cons: exploring can get more tedious than fun especially when you have to jump on things it sucks so bad cuz it takes forever like why and also alot of times the mini games (like the strength mini game its bad) and the shop doesn't have many items and I play Sonic adventure 2 with mods so after playing that then this I was disappointed but whatever. In conclusion I love the game cuz of all its content like combining the races and battles in 1 game was a perfect idea and of course every game (and I'm used to it cuz I play sonic games) always has alot of issues and its pretty much just for playtime extension well that was my review and yes you should buy it it's plenty fun.

Great game! Would recommend. This is very fun, and the mini games are addicting. Generally for a younger audiance. If you want a more in depth game for older kids, I would recommend Duck Life 9: The Flock. Very good for the price.
