(POTENTIAL SPOILERS) This game was one of the reasons I wanted a proper PC in the first place, as I always wanted to play this game after watching videos on it, and hearing it was the predecessor to Boneworks and Bonelab intrigued me even more, and after I used the 'Linking your Quest 3 to SteamVR to play PCVR games' method, I finally got to experience this. So, a few negatives to start with. - One of the game's achievements is bugged, pitching a ball with the bat into the kitchen does not work, and it hasn't worked for a lot of people. This is annoying for obvious reasons. - Shooting ducks gets repetitive when you're on your fifth or sixth run, it IS fun, just a little stale by hour 5. - The fact that the option to jump to any hour you want is locked until you get EVERY ENDING is annoying, having to replay game over the exact same is one of my biggest gripes in video games, and for this game you have to do this SIX TIMES! However, the positives do outweigh the negatives. - As i stated before, shooting ducks is fun. Addictingly fun. Shooting ducks so many times in a row without missing one is so cathartic and satisfying, plus the gun's aim is so damn accurate as well. - The amount of secrets in this game is the best part. Finding every ending by yourself is annoying, so i do recommend a guide after your first ending, but don't spoil yourself on any other secrets of the game, as figuring out how to get the secret eighth ending is the best part of this experience. - The dog is such a good horror villain, not a narratively deep character, but for what he is, he works. A classic mascot horror slasher killer, and he is especially terrifying in the 'Stuck Forever' and 'Canon' endings, and the moment with him outside the porch window with the camera is iconic. - The dumb TV ads and VHS tapes are such a joy to watch. The acting in them is so purposefully bad it's good, and they got a good laugh out of me, and there are plenty of other minigames to keep you occupied if you ever feel curious. So yeah, decent horror game, I wouldn't say it's worth the 20 quid, so wait until it's on sale to pick this up. It also has a flat mode version, so if you don't have VR you can also play this but I'd argue you lose a layer of horror from not being in VR. -------------------------------------------- I rate games on a scale of 1 to 7, with 1 being terrible and 7 being near perfect, and I rate this game a: 5/7 - Good See my rating scale below: 1/7 - Terrible - Game is unplayable or so offensively awful I cannot finish it. 2/7 - Bad - Game is poorly made, and I have no interest in returning too. 3/7 - Mediocre - Game is either boring or lacks creativity. 4/7 - Flawed - Game has issues holding it back from being enjoyable. 5/7 - Good - Game is a fun time to play and I am happy with it. 6/7 - Amazing - Game is an instant classic and I want to play this again. 7/7 - Near Perfect - Game is one of the best things I have experienced in media.

I just got the 7th ending, and I have to say that this is my favorite VR game. Worth the $20 that I spent to play this. If you like horror games in general I recommend playing this.

Yes this is what I like about VR. To take me into a different reality. I remember a lot of the toys in here, like the big yellow fisher price flash light, the action figured that shoot little red missiles, stuff like that, the adult doing boring nonsensical adult stuff. It's and early vr game too, that's cool its so well done.

I never felt like shooting ducks so much in my life Jokes aside, this game is really fun, it is well polished and the shotgun reloading is so satisfying. Taking the idea of a classic game like Duck Hunt and revamping the gameplay into what this game is, was genius. When I was in the living room I truly felt like a kid again(but in the 80s), when I played silly games with silly controllers on the TV screen. When I was in the game/shooting area, even though there is no actual weight to the weapon(course), having to do the movement of reloading made me actually feel like I was loading a gun(never actually loaded a real gun). Gameplay aside, the story is interesting too, you start in a theatre telling the story of a child receiving Duck Season as a one-day rental from his Mom. To prevent spoilers I will just add that there are multiple endings all revolving a certain dog >:^( Don't like to repeat but I have to give praise again, taking the idea of a classic game with no apparent lore and making it into Horror, was truly genius. This game is a must play if you have VR, i certainly recommend it. With Love, AchM4sterPro
