Game is decent, but rough around the edges. Priced accordingly when on sale. The hint system is a crutch to make up for where the game falls short in teaching mechanics, guiding the player, and having consistent, logical puzzle elements. It helps avoid leaving you frustrated and I quickly learned to use it after a solution to the level seemed no where to be found. To a degree this felt like a mix of a puzzle game and a point and click adventure, where at times you weren't reasonably expected to solve a puzzle with logic and built up knowledge as much as you were expected to notice a handful of pixels.

A short puzzle game made by a small team, mainly commenced and led by the will of a professor. It actually felt good to complete this game on Steam. I played this game in 2023 on mobile. The developer of this game is also polite. He really cares about feedback and reviews. You can complete this game in 2-3 hours. DOD contains a fantasy storyline within its world, which was already mentioned in the game details. A big sister was trying to rescue her little brother and started learning about Deadking's lore and the village ritual where they live. I enjoyed reading articles and texts in this game. Also, the game design is actually tunable. In-game background music also pleased me. I just didn't like (not hated) the idea of a little girl killing everyone. Overall, everything is perfect. If you like puzzle or old-school type games, then try out this series.

Quite swell... good action puzzle game that I wouldn't mind tackling on the go on my phone... unlike a certain immoral chilly devil theme game.

Great puzzle game, even killing enemies are part of the puzzle on how to massacre them or use them to slaughter each other. Also the funny thing that I managed to skip the puzzle and go straight to beating a minotaur in the Lucky Number stage which said SEVEN and I don't know what it means, so I just clap the dude from the back by constantly using the portal nearby, which in actually is used for the archer to shoot seven arrows beforehand so it keep looping then unleash the minotaur to instantly died in seven shots. Most embarrassing way of brute-forcing from my side! RECOMMENDED for puzzle enjoyers. Because it's puzzles, who hate puzzles? Gonna get the second one sometime later, the base pricing right now is kinda asking too much when it's double this price but same total of stages (aka 100).
