Best auto battler I've ever played! Here's the game loop: - Try to start a game. If you're using a gamepad like me, find out that the gamepad doesn't seem to work correctly for starting a game, and use a mouse. Now once the game has started it's possible the gamepad works, but it isn't set up correctly to start games - minor bug or possibly I just haven't figured it out. - Buy some weapons, but keep some money in your pocket because you'll also need to buy some dwarves to be in your army. - Go fight some battles and collect loot and equipment. - Equip your army. - As you continue to play new features unlock such as a forge or a tavern or extra storage or a technology tree for changing the bonuses in the game, etc. - While fighting you'll eventually see some deaths. But if your army wins those fighters will be back in your army for the next round. - Eventually if everyone dies it's Game Over - As you collect loot you'll also be able to craft higher end equipment which makes a big difference. Eventually every army you fight against is bigger than yours so optimizing equipment is very important. The music in this game is fantastic. I just couldn't stop playing as soon as I got into the loop. I recommend this as it has pretty interesting strategy and it's fun to watch as your army eventually crumbles against really mean enemies. There is a deep strategy to forging items and I haven't quite mastered that part of the game yet. There is also some skill to keeping your formation from losing ground too.

I don't want to give a bad review but I'd like to see more content. There is only 3 bosses for 9 raids then it's infinite pointless battles. Leaderboard is probably using bots to reach those numbers so new players won't try it. There is still multiple builds to try and differents mods, 50 hours before ending raids and complet rune circle on normal mod is decent for the price. Just want to see more raids or at least a scaling one to have some challenge.

It's a deceptively complex, fun, and addicting game. I watched some guy randomly playing it on YouTube, saw the reasonable price tag for an indie game, and thought I would give it a shot. Now I'm 60 hours in and having a fantastic time. I accidentally stayed up all night twice due to the "one more round" experience. I easily recommend this game to others if you like autobattlers. My only suggestion is that the game is pretty complex and there are some things that aren't obvious and the game is kind of hard, so I joined the discord to get some help and tips to elevate my gameplay. Don't let that deter you though! Great game.

I'm addicted to killing goblins. The game is a linear autobattler(in that you fight on a single line) where you select and equip your party of dwarves, and kill enemies (goblins, orcs, hopefully elves later on!). So, you purchase/resell assign equipment, assemble a party of up to 10 dwarves, choose one of the simple tactics and one of the party buffs, and watch them wreak opponents, or get plastered by opponents you underestimated: Each fight, you get to choose between 3 groups of opponents with a different reward for defeating them. You win fights by killing all opponents or pushing them back to the edge of the battlefield. You have pretty limited decisions to make during fights(on top of doing nothing special): forego healing to advance faster, or running away. So far, overconfidence has been the main reason for the premature demise of my clans. You get runes to specialize each of your clans that carry over during the runs. Overall, I think the game finds a good balance between managing your murderous shorties and watching them fight, and felt the urge to try one more time...
