I enjoy this game as a 4d2 game. The stick throws are effectively coin tosses, and it's a different set of odds than six sided dice. I like the bot mode as well as the friend mode. Overall, it runs great and I haven't had any issues. I recommend this game especially for kids as a bit of a reach back into history. Senet has elements of Chutes and Ladders and also Sorry! so most kids will pick it right up.

I play Senet against my husband. It's the first board game he's played voluntarily. We have visited many archaeological Egypt exhibitions, so we have a rough idea of the ancient Egyptian underworld. As far as the game goes particularly like the part behind the House of Happiness, when we have to throw each other into the water or even go into the water on our own, because only the token on the House of Happiness can draw a one. I can recommend this game without hesitation to anyone for whom a virtual bath doesn't spoil their good mood.

If you like Backgammon, then this game is something up your alley, music overlaps and visuals are ok at best but the engine is solid. Mind you, Senet has many variations and the one this game adopts may not conform with what you are used to, but I found it quite enjoyable,
