Fun little game of find the hidden cat objects. Thought I might find it frustrating, but I didn't at all. The gentle music is actually calming, and you can take all the time you need. Not only that, but there's a Hint button with NO penalties for using it. I only used it twice, and that was when I was still getting used to the layouts. Once your mind adjusts to the shapes and patterns that you're searching for, it becomes easy with no help needed. I got a Perfect Game in under 4 hours. I enjoyed it enough that I bought Cats 2 & 3. On sale, all three games cost me less than five bucks. I happily recommend!

I was very surprised by the "Ever Seen A Cat?" series! While many of these cat clicker games tend to be quick one-page wonders, these first three of this series are all multi-level and with alternating cats to click, making each play-through just a little more unique. I've played through a bunch of these sort of games and gotta say, these are some of the better ones! I actually wasn't even getting bored replaying levels for the achievements. Great work, dev!!

Simple and straightforward casual hidden object game, pleasantly artistic. I much prefer these to the kind BigFish churns out. I like it over the things Devcats release too, because you're not required to interact with random things on the screen to reveal cats that would not be shown otherwise. Perhaps a bit too pricey at full price for what it is. 100% done in just over an hour, had to idle to get to the steam point shop unlocks. Some (but not much) replayability -- some cats will not be there next playthrough, replaced by other cats in other places. Good options menu, good zoom in/out feature. "Hint available" sound a bit too jarring. Game tracks your best times but these can be easily accidentally cheesed by quitting and continuing later -- progress doesn't get reset, but timer does. Will get the sequel on a 50% sale.

A Nice and Cheap Hidden Cats Game What this game is: A hidden cats game, like so many others found on Steam. How does it work? It is a basic point and click game. You have to find all the cats hidden in a big monochrome picture. Once you've found all of these, you can go on to the next picture. How does it perform? Very easy to play. You click on each cat you find to reveal it. Many cats are easy to find, but the colour of some monochrome backgrounds may make finding the cats more difficult. The good points: Simple and generally relaxing game. Getting the Achievements is quite easy. No apparent bugs. Takes less than 80 MBs on your HD, and will run on a 10 years old PC. You can expect a couple hours of entertainement out of it depending on the speed with which you are playing (70 to 120 minutes of play). There are good controls allowing you to play with the settings. The music is OK. There are Steam Trading Cards. The bad points: It is a basic hidden animals/objects game, so playing is very linear and repetitive. There is not much replayability here. In order to get the Achievements and make you play longer, the devs have looped the game so you will have to play the same setups a few times. My take on this: If you like a relatively cheap and relaxing games, this is it. The price is low, but I would recommend buying it when for sale. You will get a couple of hours of gaming out of it at best.

Ever Seen A Cat? is short, sweet, and seriously adorable. With 9 core levels (plus a bonus 10th with no achievement), each featuring 30 cats, the game is a cozy breeze to 100%. The cats look like cats (finally!), the zoom out is excellent, and the artwork is probably the cutest in the genre. Honestly, it’s the kind of game that makes you smile just looking at the screen. Each level only takes about 30 seconds to 2 minutes to complete, so don’t expect a challenge since the cat placement is extremely easy. However, there’s replay value built in: cats move spots between runs, and you’ll need to replay each level three times to grab all the Steam achievements. It’s not grindy per se, but you’ll definitely feel the repetition. Hints are unlimited and take about 2 minutes to recharge, though they point straight to the answer instead of offering a general area, which may spoil the fun for some. The game also earns points for customization: color vibrance, movement sensitivity, and more can be adjusted to suit your comfort. The music is cute, though the “ding” when you find a cat could really use a feline upgrade. Still, for 14–40 minutes of wholesome hide-and-seek, Ever Seen A Cat? is a delight for casual players, cat lovers, and cozy achievement hunters.
