I’ve played this for some time, and all I can say is that it’s quite immersive and some the functions are really nice, although I wish that there was something like a greenhouse for growing crops in the winter. Back in the day people use to have really simple greenhouses out of glass bottles and I think that I would be nice to have this in the game. Otherwise one of the best game out there.

One of the best survival-farming sims i've ever played. More rustic and hands-on than Farming sim. You actually harvest materials and construct buildings instead of just placing them down. More hands-on caring for and feeding animals. Storing crops and materials so they don't rot in winter. Really well done. You can play any way you want. Agriculture, animals, fishing, making alcohol, or doing some of everything. One of my favourite things is that the devs seem to care about allowing users crafting their own experience rather than forcing people to play a certain way. The ability to change the game settings is a great feature. I changed the speed of time to 0.5 and made carrying capacity the maximum and it works really well for me. Haven't experienced any bugs yet. The game seems like it's in a good place. Well worth the price. Highly recommend this game. I'm currently reading the book Growth of the soil. This is the game version of it :D

This game is deep. I thought it was a simple little farming sim. I was waaaaayyyy wrong. There is tons to do and a whole lotta depth. I finally got the graphics set just perfect, so it looks great. I was farming, got my tractor, working on getting married; thought that I was over 50% done with it. Turns out, after watching some videos, I am barely 8% into this game. Talk about value for you money. I don't even care if they work on this game anymore, there is plenty do to do for your $17, or whatever you get it for. I bought games for $40, they had about 8 hours of playtime, and nobody b*tched about it. I see a game like this with tons of content, hours of playtime, and people whining about what they do with their money. I don't even care what they do with the money I gave them, they released a really fun sim with over 40 hours of playtime. What more can you ask for with $17? The only thing I am really bothered with are the days. Each day is a month? I had to use the cheats to slow the days down a bit. I think they should come back to the board with that and make it so every 10 days is a month, especially if they are going by that fast. I don't understand why they make it that way, they could just make it 1 to 1 on the days, and then every 5 min equals an hour. I believe the game would move along just fine if you could play out the months day by day. Sometimes it takes a bit to do a mission and then all of a sudden winter is here. Kinda sucks sometimes. I would like an option to make it day by day, or just an option to set it at my pace. Would make this sim almost perfect. Oh yeah the other thing is the alcoholism. I have a family of alcoholics, and if 2 months go by without a drink, they are pretty much cured (until they have a drink of course, most fall back off the horse). My point is, they don't sit there and cry about it, not shutting up about it, after 2 months. I haven't given him a drink in 7 months and he still babbles about it. Why? This should be done with.

Great game, excellent sandbox farmer simulator with fishing and hunting and brewing booze and beating alcoholism.. and a pig named Fluffy. Its nice to have a more realistic grungy farm experience over cutesy cartoons games.

I have 250 hours in this game and it's still fun and there's a lot to do. This game is super inmersive, you can place down any item and interact with it, also you will have to carry bags by holding it with your hands and make hay blocks with a string to pick them up and more. The early game is a bit rough if you don't know what to do but I made an awesome guide how to get 50k money in year 1. You can get contracts to give specific items for money at the end of the year, and you can buy almost half of the map to expand your farm and build whatever you want. Earn money in many different ways depending on your style. I love this game so much, give it a try.
