After spending hours in this I gotta say it is worth the $40, only if you have it and wanna spend the money. The free and paid versions don't have much of a difference but having the amount of pens that the paid for versions give helps a lot if you are drawing A LOT. I am an avid artist and draw a good bit and the paid version doesn't crash much at all compaired to its free counter part.

If you like FireAlpaca already it's worth it, basically the same program but a bit more polished. I basically only bought this for the dark mode because of my light sensitivity and chronic migraines. I've been using the free version so long I didn't mind too much forking up the cash, but I think it's *really* crappy to put dark mode behind a paywall, especially this much of a paywall, like, wtf?

This is a great program for my purposes. Simple and optimized, continuously updated with no hassle. Barely lags (up to 8000x8000 canvas resolution) on my Intel Core I5 quad core CPU with integrated graphics. I use it with my Wacom Intuos bluetooth model. Drawing feels great with the stabilization and the liquify tool works well. However, the watercolor brushes are rather weak and muddy, not creating vibrant results. Brush textures don't have many options, so pencil-style brushes are hard to create. I also wish they supported other formats for color palette files as ACO is not very common. An unique feature in this program is the "Roller (Ribbon)" function for bitmap brushes, Not even Krita has this feature. I think they should write official documentation for the brush scripting as I can not find any guides for how to script your own brush.

price needs to be lowered but other than that its not bad. crashes when i use the bucket tool on a drawing thats in a large canvas but its fine , the free software does it too so im used to it

I draw furry shit for money with this feels better and smoother than the free version, dark mode is nice too when i'm drawing tits at 1am sleep deprived. £30 asking price is a bit steep tho, wait for sale
