Scott Cawthon is a fantastic developer. The fact he was able to push this game out months after the first game released is beyond impressive. He will always be an inspiration to me. The animatronic designs are very memorable and it also hits that uncanny feel the first game's designs did too. The atmosphere of the building adds to the horror in the uncanny department, while all the animatronics look cute and the building looks entertaining, they're creepy enough to unsettle you, the building is deserted and eerie enough to give you the creeps. The game play loop as a whole can be a bit repetitive and very overwhelming, especially on later nights where you can't even use any other camera but the music box camera since you have zero time to even look around and enjoy to design of the building. There also a feature where you can camera stall most animatronics, but it usually goes unnoticed since you can barely use half the cameras anyways. The sound design is a bit underutilized and overwhelming too. While in the first game the ambiance was creepy, not too loud so it feels normal, but then you have the occasional random chance noises to scare you, throw you off and make you wonder if its a sound that tells you you're in danger. On the other hand in this game all you ever really hear in later nights is the blaring and constant danger ambiance and the vent cues, as a result of the game being very hectic. This game feels similar to Ultimate Custom Night in the sense that its more of a challenge, to push your limits on how long you can survive. If the intention was that with this game, I think Scott achieved this perfectly. If the game was supposed to be more scary like the first game, I feel like it could've been designed better. I would never change a thing to this game though. It was my introduction to the series and it is a very strong game. 1000000/10 I love it.
