A really gentle, emotional little experience. It’s simple to play, but it tells its story in such a warm and relatable way that it sticks with you. The music and art style fit the mood perfectly, and it feels more like reading a short graphic novel than playing a game. Short, but very memorable and worth it.

This game is really beautiful, telling a touching & relatable story about a young woman in her twenties who falls in love, only to rediscover herself & her passions when life doesn’t go as planned. It’s a short experience, but one that lingers with you long after you finish it. For the price, it’s definitely worth picking up!

Playing Florence was a short but deeply emotional experience ( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝) The art style is simple yet incredibly expressive, and the music ties perfectly to every moment, making even small scenes feel meaningful. What I loved the most was how the gameplay subtly reflected Florence’s emotions - puzzle pieces coming together when things felt right, and falling apart when they didn’t. It’s such a clever and touching way to tell a story without needing many words. I admired how the game communicated feelings through simple visuals and music. It’s amazing how something so short can say so much just through its art and design. Overall, Florence is a heartfelt journey that reminds you how love, loss, and growth shape who we are. It’s short, beautiful, and stays with you long after the credits roll.

If You Love Someone, Let Them Go I believe this was the game I’d been missing lately. The past year has been difficult — a breakup left behind a trail of pain, memories, and an aching emptiness. For a long time, I couldn’t let go. And only today did I finally rid myself of the things that tied me to the past. It was on this very day that I opened Florence — a short visual novel that felt as though it were speaking to me directly. At first glance, Florence tells a simple story — a young woman and her first great love. But beneath that simplicity lies a surprising depth. In just about an hour of gameplay, you live through an entire chapter of someone’s life — and it’s not merely a romantic tale, but a genuine emotional journey: from infatuation and elation to the quiet ache of separation and eventual acceptance. What makes this story truly special is that it doesn’t dramatize or judge. It gently reminds you that every encounter teaches us something, and every person who enters our life leaves a lasting mark. Florence helped me realize that my memories aren’t just painful — they’re part of who I am. The artwork is minimalist, yet incredibly expressive. Through color, form, and composition, the game conveys emotion with remarkable clarity. Without a single word, you feel joy, frustration, loneliness, longing, inspiration. The soundtrack is subtle but precise — it doesn’t simply accompany the story, it steers the emotions. I was especially struck by the music during the scenes of conflict and parting — so seamlessly woven into the moment that I found myself holding my breath. Yes, the game is short, but it doesn’t need to be long. It feels like a sudden flash of memory, like a page from a diary — brief, but full of feeling. Florence became an emotional catharsis for me. It allowed me to see my own experience from a different perspective — not as pure sorrow, but as something that shaped me. After finishing it, I felt relief, a touch of melancholy, and... a quiet sense of gratitude.
