I .. FOR ONCE AGAIN, ASKING .... WHY CAN'T WE HAVE SUOU ERIKA ROUTE !? it is such a wasted opportunity, tbf. both have great chemistry, great interaction. erika even has a moment to heal the heartbroken suou, but we really can't have a nice and perfect thing like that right ? No offense to mayuri, but erika well deserved for suou at this point.

Does it stick the landing? Yeah it does, but I wouldn't say it does it with particular grace. It might well be the weakest of this (amazing) series sadly, as it gets a bit wishy washy towards the end. However, at this point in time our investment into our favourite characters is at an all time high, and in all seriousness what is more important here is that we get to see more of them. An enjoyable experience throughout, but all good things come to an end eventually; we will all miss these characters greatly.

Considering how great the prior two games were, I set my expectations high... only to be disappointed. It's not a bad game, but this game is in my opinion the worst of the four. But before I rant, let me quickly fill you in on the obvious stuff if you played the prior games: The game looks lovely and the voice actors are doing a superb job. The music just works and the atmosphere - as expected from a Flowers game - really pulled me in. It's one of if not the best thing about the series in my humble opinion. Generally, I'm not a fan of choices in visual novels. I think the characters in game should make their own choices, rather than having some third-party choose their thoughts for them. Whatever. I would like to mention that the way the endings are structures makes no sense to me. Why do I have to play through the game 4 times to finally see the proper ending. It's just plain annoying. Especially when you consider that the only thing that differs in 3 of them is like one or two scenes at the end. Lets get the bag out of the cat tho: The plot is confusing at best. I've had more open questions after this game than before. Considering that this game is the last part, this is quite frustrating. Most of them relate to character motivations or plot holes. Why did Sayuri not tell Suoh about what she was doing? Could she not have looked after that grandma in her off-time? Who in their right mind would unironically disappear on their lover for someone they have no attachment to whatsoever? Why would she not even bother to mention anything to Suoh about it? Did she sign an NDA? And why, why would she tell Suoh to her face that she'd do it again? Or regarding Yuzu: I still don't get what happened. Or rather, why it did? They literally injured Erica and acted like jerks for like basically the entire game. What were their motivations and why did they throw such a tantrum? Also, why is the picture of Suoh and Sayuri kissing only in the bad end? That's literally what most people (I assume) have been rooting for and you can't even make it cannon? Is their relationship even cannon? I don't even know. Both of Suoh's amite partners are so cruel to her and the way she brushes it off as if it's nothing just hurts. Sayuri and Rikka don't deserve her. Also, I get that Chidori wants answers from Suoh when Erika is at the hospital. But the way she treats her and then does not even bother to apologize afterwards... Though this is more of a rant than an actual review, I did like this game and the series as a whole. I think it's worth playing if you're into some light yuri and mystery and can disregard some plot holes for a genuinely great atmosphere. The series did peek with ete tho.

I was worried that they set up too many story threads to weave together, but I thoroughly erjoyed this ending. Amazing finale for an amazing series. I will miss Flowers.
