I played 8 hours straight in one session, rarely happens, i also rarely write reviews. this is a gem. animations, graphics, sound design, nothing i didn't like or felt needed changing. and this is really rare for someone who likes to find flaws in anything. looking forward to the future of the game with coop releasing. kudos devs. you've done a great job. keep it up.

The game is fun as hell. Upcoming cooperative mode update is a huge bonus. FUMES deserves the Twisted Metal license. Speaking of, I hope they add arena tournaments, the free roam is fun but the lack of map and few landmarks in the procedurally generated wasteland do give a permanent sandbox mode vibe. More structure in a tournament format with stronger enemies in a gauntlet would be great

Since studios stopped making amazing games like Twisted Metal or Vigilante 8, this is a great game for getting that itch scratched! While it still leaves a lot to be desired, its still being worked on and the roadmap look promising. Worth the asking price!

Hey, all the UE5 devs out there, start taking notes. This game doesn't have Lumen. It doesn't have Nanite. I don't need to use DLSS and frame generation to get acceptable performance on a decent rig. It runs at 160+ FPS with 200% scaling at 1440P with amazing visual clarity. I can actually see what I'm shooting at. There isn't smearing and ghosting everywhere from badly implemented TAA. And yet, despite the retro graphics style, I'm actually completely immersed and having FUN playing a game instead of continuously juggling graphics settings trying to find the right balance of performance and fidelity. I'm a simple man. Give me a game that's actually fun to play, give me an option to crank the fidelity to the moon (supersampling, downsampling, etc.) and I'm happy and writing a glowing review. It's that easy. GG FUMES team. A band of brothers who can read a damned room.

The team behind it understands how to make euphoric vehicular combat and sell you on that formula better than 97% of the competing market on steam as of writing this. If you look now, you find absolutely NO ONE doing what these mad scrappers are accomplishing on the Vehicular Combat tag for games on steam, and it shows. You'll find the space mostly dominated by free-to-play business models, monopolies headed by a handful of game studios, and general predatory business practices infesting the genre. While there isn't much here at the moment(let them cook), what is here is some of the most purely fun, passionate, and genuine content you can find anywhere on steam. Easiest recommend I've ever made.
