Fun game and they just added co-op for even more destruction! Can get repetitive after long sessions and physics are kinda wonky though. Lot of potential and already worth buying, I hope they add more variety for future missions. 7.5/10

At the moment Fumes is dumb fun. It is a bit mad max, a bit twisted metal, and bit click the banana. You are in a barren wasteland. You drive cars. You put guns on cars. You shoot other cars with guns. you put more guns on more cars and shoot more cars. What the devs need to work out to have a top tier game is "why?". Why not just use the best damage guns all the time? Why not just pick the car body with the most weapons available? Why should i care about NPCs fighting each other? Why should i put 100hrs into this? The game is still early access so the devs can certainly work this all out. It needs more story. It needs checks and balances on the weapons and enemies. It honestly needs factions. helping out passing other cars that get ganged up on just makes everyone attack you it seems. Let my build ties with groups in the game. end of the day though, if the devs add nothing else it is still cars, guns, good.

I played 8 hours straight in one session, rarely happens, i also rarely write reviews. this is a gem. animations, graphics, sound design, nothing i didn't like or felt needed changing. and this is really rare for someone who likes to find flaws in anything. looking forward to the future of the game with coop releasing. kudos devs. you've done a great job. keep it up.

The game is fun as hell. Upcoming cooperative mode update is a huge bonus. FUMES deserves the Twisted Metal license. Speaking of, I hope they add arena tournaments, the free roam is fun but the lack of map and few landmarks in the procedurally generated wasteland do give a permanent sandbox mode vibe. More structure in a tournament format with stronger enemies in a gauntlet would be great
