Played this game on iOS all the time as a kid. Probably my favorite sci-fi game of all time because of that. That being said, some info for people looking to maybe buy this game and play it for the first time- The DLC is completely unavaliable in this version. In short, there is basically no way to play this game on PC with the DLC without literally hackintoshing your PC into a mac. Modding is actually possible, and easy. Look on the wiki for "modifications" and find the link to the modder, which lets you change the values of items, ships, and stations directly in the files. You can also do model-swaps, and a few other things if you want. It's a fun game if you really want to screw around with it, but if you want the definitive purist edition with all the DLC, buy the game on iOS and play with a controller instead.

this game was originally intended for mobiles during the rise of smartphones, and an exemplar of what mobile gaming could have achieved in a futuristic space themed setting. the reason i bought this was to relieve childhood memories and to further explore complex mechanics, of which younger me could not comprehend/did not notice; in addition to completing the game which i failed to do so on psvita port due to ending cutscene being broken + it messed up my vita's gpu. do take note that it does not include dlc found in mobile platforms, however it is possible to obtain from the wayback machine with a simple search on the internet verdict: 8/10 - inclusive of bias for being a childhood game

Yes...BUT: It is a decent game, and worth the sale price I paid... It is a little disappointing that the other content for the game like the Kaamo club, etc, that were in the iOS version have not been ported to the PC version... so I would recommend this if you fancy a freelancer style game to while away a few hours and it is on sale... (would have happily paid more if the other content was added!)

Great game that totally holds up despite it's 2012 release date. While it lacks some of the DLC that is avaliable on other platforms, its still definitely worth the price and provides plenty of fun content. The 100% achievements can get a little grindy, and the game is far from perfect, but it provides quite a lot of solid content for what it is. Positives Funny Story: Looking into the motivations and interactions between characters creates a wacky and enjoyable tale of a guy just trying to get laid , and even though the main missions provide a shorter experience, traversing the expansive galaxy is really fun, even in the postgame! Awesome Visuals: The visuals in this game are awesome. They run well, and look amazing. Even for a game from 2012, these hold up well to many games being released to this day. Universe Complexity: The layers of complexity in the game is well beyond what I would have expected, as a strong economy system that favours specific items's pricing in some sectors, and only has some items in other systems, creates a super cool environment that has you thinking what to do with every item you receive. This also works well with the blueprint system in the game as you work to find the cheapest way to build your parts. Negatives Nonexistent Scaling: While the combat in the game is quite fun, as you progress and become stronger, the enemies stay at the same stage, meaning you begin to tear apart ships as you progress to the late-game. While there are many options for weapons in the game, I found it hard to put away a rare gun I had found to purposely make fights harder. Instability: As expected for a game of this age, the game can struggle with stability at times. While it ran well for me at most points, I did crash a few times, however I never was too upset as their strong autosave system means you never lose too much progress.
