PixelGreeds is one of those indie devs I can't help but admire. Their work isn't anything that redefines genres. But their work is filled with an irrepressibly earnest energy. Whatever mechanic they've figured out, PixelGreeds cannot wait to apply that knowledge into the very best game they can make. As such, their work is always evolving and improving with each subsequent release, and that's really all I expect from a game designer honing the craft. Geometry May is a solid run n' gun title precisely because it does not muddle itself by trying to be anything more. There are some minor issues with large hit boxes, but nothing that ruins the experience. Keeping in the unfortunate tradition of other PixelGreeds releases, Geometry May is advertised as some sort of hentai cheesecake game. Like its predecessors however, it's really not. Even the optional gallery content you unlock with game points is censored and incredibly vanilla. So, if you pick up this FREE GAME, it might as well be for its charming retro content. So, do I recommend Geometry May? Yeah. It's a nice game. I swear.
