Over 900 hours in, and yeah… it’s a full-blown love-hate relationship at this point. I’ll be real with you — after the first 100 hours, I had to take a 6-month break. The game messed me up mentally so hard, it literally killed my excitement for any other VR game. The learning curve? Brutal. The tutorial barely scratches the surface. New players get thrown into the deep end with no real direction. Especially if you’re new to VR, you’re gonna get eaten alive. I highly recommend starting with a buddy (or two) — solo, early game is pain. The game should seriously teach players about spawn points, common angles, hot zones, and which places to avoid early on (unless you like dying with starter gear in under 2 minutes). Give us better onboarding, devs. But once you get past that rough start… man, it hits different. You start questing, you unlock better gear, you learn the economy — and suddenly you’re doing loot runs, farming, crafting, selling healing sticks, and building real strategies. With a teammate you’ve built synergy with, the game becomes something else. You start doing tactical pushes, creating your own funny challenges, or even just screwing around — and it never really gets boring. Even with all traders maxed, you’ll always find something dumb or awesome to do. “Zero to Hero”, 1v1s, roulette, camping squads, social runs, aggressive PvP — it’s all there if you’re creative. That being said: Lately, the updates have been hit or miss. Too many bugs, broken mechanics, and weird exploits being abused — and instead of fixing core issues, the devs sometimes push for the next DLC or feature. That’s backwards, man. Stability and core gameplay should come first, not more content stacked on shaky systems. I love this game, but I’m not blind to its problems. TL;DR: This game can break you — but if you let it teach you first, it’ll become something you won’t stop thinking about. I’m still here. Still grinding. Still hoping. And yeah, still addicted. Ghosts of Tabor is hard to learn, but once it gets under your Skin, it stays!

I have bought this game on both Meta and Steam (thanks devs for account linking) and across both platforms i have about 600-700 hours. In the beginning it's rough with all the bugs but once you see past them it's an amazing game. It's really hard to have a good balance of bug fixes and adding content but I feel like the devs are doing a pretty alright job at it. The game does get pretty stale in between content patches but since every fight is different it still is fun. Uhh yeah

I started on Quest 3. Recently migrated to PCVR. Love this game more than every other FPS I’ve ever played. Game I’m most likely to gift to others, let alone recommend.

It's not perfect and it's not a unique concept. What it lacks in polish, it makes up for in fun. This is THE VR title that I keep coming back to over anything else. If you're okay with some 'jank' then you'll be okay with this game. It doesn't hold your hand and will require you to read/watch to learn all the mechanics. I'm hopeful for the future potential of the game but honestly, as is, I've gotten my money's worth.

my very first raid: I load in with an m4 and a makarov, with a friend. Friend does not have any guns. Friend proceeds to grab makarov out my holster and shoot me in the head, then turn the gun on himself. Very good game im addicted to it
