Easy to learn, hard to master, super addictive. Graphics give big, bright borderlands vibes, movement is smoooooth. If you've ever played games like overcooked but didn't like the fact it's lowkey impossible to play solo, this is like good answer to that. With way more extra stuff like traps, upgrades, challenges, managing profit and good reviews vs murder for more body part ingredients, and note taking (helps to remember how not to poison your customers. You want the one that works.) When you die you go back to day one and lose your stuff except for upgrades and whatever cash you remembered to jam in the safe. I was braced for this to infuriate me because so many games do this and it always feels like bs, but this is maybe the first time I've played a game where it feels like enough of a set back to be like 'ah, beans.' without being so gutting you uninstall. Reminds me of old fashioned strategy like Tom Clancey where failure felt more like being given insight the level so you could get better rather than cheap rage bait like some games now. Anyway, actually sad I didn't find this sooner. Premium game to play while vegging out watching Caseoh on the other monitor.

Got it for free on Epic about a year ago. Bought it on Steam, on sale. Controls sucked on mouse and keys then, they still do now. On Steam Deck, it works flawlessly. I bet with a controller, it would work great too. Runs like butter on deck, capped to 40fps for power consumption. Fun, repetitive. I can tell it's going to plateau around 10 hours, not much replay-ability. Bought it on sale, no regrets for under $5. I wouldn't spend full price personally, as there isn't any specific story lore worth the low hours.

I'm enjoying the gameplay so far. The resource management is quite unique. The meat is indeed questionable. As you get more upgrades, the game becomes more manageable and fun.

This is my new addiction - cooking for aliens, then cooking those aliens up for other aliens... The "rogue-lite" elements - where I can upgrade my stuff so that when I die I restart with better equipment, traps, etc - is keeping me hooked. Also the graphics are cute and the music is catchy. Nice work on this game!
