Man, this was a blast from the past. Played this together with my wife and it plays just like how I remember the original did. I mean, it is just the original experience on Steam but behind a paywall. I paid 3 bucks for it on sale, which I can afford for an hour or two of fun, but if you want more out of your money, then I wouldn’t recommend this. I don't think most people will get more than 2 hours out of it before getting bored, even with co-op. More achievements would be nice though. Oh, and it runs well on the Steam deck, in case you would prefer to play it on that. Since we are now bringing back old flash games, can we bring back Bubble Trouble and Winterbells? _________________________________ [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45534557/]Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!

Worth a few bucks to have it on demand in your library for whenever you get the nostalgia for flash game gold mining. I probably haven't played it in 15 years, just played it for a half hour, and I'm probably good for another 15 years.

Unless you played this as a kid, I would say skip. It's got bare bone features, a lack luster achievement set and simple game play... but I still gotta give it a thumbs up. I remember sitting with my mom playing this game laughing and shouting with excitement. It's a good memory. If you have those, this game is so cheap it's a sin not to have it in your library as a reminder.

Gold Miner is a childhood favorite. I remember spending hours playing the Flash version on IE, having an absolute blast. The Steam version is almost exactly as I remembered it, with some new additions I haven’t seen before - like that tool to freeze little "pigs", slots, gnomes, bats, and a wider variety of gems. The core gameplay remains true to the original, I almost always buy honey water to speed up my pulls, and stock up TNT when it’s cheap. But I still keep forgetting when to buy the gem polish. :) All in all, it’s a fantastic game, still so much fun for a quick round. My best score is 20k, there seems to be an online leaderboard somewhere but I haven’t found it yet - no big deal though.
