Brings me back to the Kongregate and Newgrounds days, when websites like that, were littered with 2d games like these. Nostalgic and easy to pick up and enjoy.

I really enjoy this game but the only issue I have is what others have mentioned, there needs to be a way to keep track of what paths to take in the fate system. Right now you almost need to create an external reference sheet for what each choice does; choices are great but without a way to remember/reference them in game its a huge pain.

Generally, I’m enjoying this. But I’ve got a few gripes: - The character sprites resemble the character art not at all. The bard’s sprite has a mustache, but not in the art. The priest’s sprite wears a bishop’s hate and looks like a guy, though she’s a sexy girl in the art. And the sprites just look kinda bad in general. - The translation could be better, and text often overflows text boxes, without being scrollable. - Puzzles and riddles are more difficult than they should be on account of the poor translation. - With the issues above, and overall lacking polish, the game still feels a bit early access. Hard to believe this is 1.0, and they’re already pushing DLC. 🤨 BUT, gripes aside, the game is pretty fun to play, and the questing mechanic stands out as a unique aspect within the genre. For now, a mild recommendation. If they continue to polish the game, and overhaul the graphics, I’d be a lot more enthusiastic.
