Have been waiting for this game for a long time and literally spent whole night playing it and after completing the game I can point out some problems I have with this game: 1. Villagers doesn't seem alive. Yeah, you can click on them, make them do poses, make them do works, but except from unique houses, there isn't much difference between Villager #1 and Villager #2 and absolutely no gameplay reason to look for specific villager. Maybe villagers could yap about weather, work, player or other villagers and we could have an option to befriend them? 2. You can't adjust jobs villagers do. It's good that villagers can help a little, but it would be great if they had some adjustments players could settle, for example, instead of gathering all the garbage they could find, adventurer-villagers could be looking for a specific item, like sugar or something. Or to make a field specify on one culture, so that farmer-villagers could use specific seeds for the field. We can go even further and make villagers level up too, so that they could have better results at their work and do it more efficiently. 3. Missing hololivers, like Council, ID, HoloX and Justice. I want to believe that they will be added in the future. 4. The game is all about grinding, and after buying 9th house, beating final boss, I have nothing to do in the game. Solving issue #1 and maybe adding some events could help. Or New Game +. 5. Village customisation is problematic. Placing houses is hard, as house position changes every time character moves, and moving an inch can be impossible. Also, adding decorations for the village could be good. 6. Resources could use information on where they can be obtained. 7. Quest board could use dynamic progression. Being on day 52, earning ten thousands of coins daily, I don't have any reason to complete quests with the reward of 500 coins. 8. 9 villagers maximum isn't enough. There is enough space on village to add more houses, at least 3 more. Of course this can cause disbalance and while #1 issue isn't solved there is no reason to increase the limit, but I'm sure something can be done about it. 9. Anvil upgrade doesn't do much. Like the other commentator said, anvil isn't a gamechanger, adding 1% to some stats. 10. Tickets mechanic is confusing. When I only started, I bought several Villager Houses 1 for 1000 coins and couldn't understand why I can't settle them. Okay, I can accept the pricings, balance and all, but maybe not sell tickets that don't work? In conclusion I want to say that I'm glad that this game has come, I can see how much efforts were done for it, during the game I encoutered only 3 bugs (1 of them about cooking was solved later that day). It's not exactly what I was expecting from the game, but if developers are to address these issues, it would be great.

TL;DR Pretty fun overall, but there's a few systems that need improving, and I have faith that the developers will take player feedback and work on it You know, this is my second most anticipated Hololive game, only behind Hololive Dreams. For it's price, it's pretty good. But compared to the titan in this game category, Stardew Valley, there's a lot of clumsy controls and systems. For example, you need to clear out the entire area for monsters if you want to fish, even if there's only a chicken on the other side of the map, which makes fast travelling for fishing moot. The placement system also depends on your character, which I think should be scrapped and changed to the Stardew top down grid system instead, because any minor movement throws your placement off entirely. That aside, the game has it's moments. The music and the unexpected talents showing up (like a dragon) is a plus. I think if you're on this game page, the girls are what you're here for anyways, and the game delivers on it. That being said, biboo being my first villager will cause me to uninstall. 67/67. With all that being said, I'm hopeful that the game will improve with time. If you've got the money and you want to scratch the stardew itch with holomembers, then you should give it a try.

[A Mixed Review, not Fully Positive] Was interested in a chill game but some things put me off that I feel they'd just muddy my experience overtime if I kept playing. So I'll come back after more improvements. Kinda mixed so far on it that I'm just gonna wait a bit more to see what happens via updates and such. The game is fine it works and does the basics of what it sets out to do, that's why I'm not putting a negative but it needs polish on some stuff. Unsure how much the game really excels at the many components it tries to do as I got a bit annoyed before really diving that far from the basics. From my short time playing here are the things that got annoying and made me want to wait on post launch updates and improvements. The music got grating like 30 minutes in, it's not good on loop, it sounds like an event song rather than a "day time" song. Very annoying, had to turn the music off. Many character one liners obviously are from streams and such, so the quality and balancing of it is kind of all over the place. Placing things is infuriatingly tedious when trying to be precise. Why it's not aligned to your camera and is instead aligned to your character's view is confusing on how it got to release. The touted number of customizations obviously inflated for recolors and such. Color selections are poor or non-existant for 99% of Holomembers. I say this as Pekora's outfit is colorable. This limits your choices obviously in mixing and matching. The control UI is bugged at times and was mixing Switch(Do not have one plugged in) and Playstation(The one I'm using) buttons, it fixed itself to just one eventually when I changed my confirm button back and forth. But was very confusing seeing both for a bit. Improvements I'd like to see in particular. •Placing being relative to your camera so you can more easily move and place things without trying to get your character to face the specific spot you want it. •More colorable options to existing assets, like Holomem cosmetics, expanding into their hairs and some other assets as well. •Better music choices to not stick out so much but be more enjoyable to listen to, more variety to said songs so you don't hear the same one on loop so much so quickly. I'm unsure how the game pans out in replayability and how quickly things get tedious as comparing it to other games of similar gameplay. If it's a jack of all trades and doesn't excel in any of it's components, I'm not sure on yet.
