Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades: The ATF's Worst Nightmare The ATF agents gather around the campfire and tell horror stories about this game. This game could not have come at a better time when it did for me, as I firs started with Pavlov VR, found out Pavlov is extremely barren in terms of guns (full of squeakers too) and they removed Workshop, found out about Bonerlab, thought it was great, really great mods until the main mods literally EVERYONE USED got HIDDEN because of a major update, rendering the guns I modded in completely useless and the mod author didn't care to port it to the newer version, gunplay was great but then H3VR came into the picture... H3VR has a SHIT TON OF GUNS and this is base, unmodded. H3VR is truly the game for gun autists like myself, and the closest way you can fire either really old guns that are hard to get a hold of, are too damn expensive IRL, the gun manufacturer straight up doesn't sell to the civilian market but will sell to the Columbian cartel (I'm looking at you, HK) shoot really expensive proprietary ammo, you live in a place OUTSIDE of America, or you're a registered felon. Truly is a gun simulator of all time that really feels like the best parts of Boneworks and Pavlov into a $20 package, very worth getting full price because this is also an indie game. H3VR has a whole bunch of cool shit and a whole bunch of stupid shit that somehow works and reeks of pure American spirit. It's also $20.

This is an amazing game, but only if you're a gun nerd. I'm a gun nerd, so I have a lot of fun playing this. If you don't enjoy shooting guns just for the purpose of shooting guns, you most likely will get bored of this real quick. The only thing this game has to offer that isn't a gun sandbox is Take & Hold, but If it's not your thing it'll get repetitive fast. You can look up some videos of that to get an idea of whether you'd enjoy the gameplay loop or not. Although, It does look like the developer is working on a new gamemode that's a lot more in depth. So, there is a possibility that this game will become more diverse in the future.
