April 2025
I Expect You To Die is a fantastic comical and enjoyable escape room experience. The game was problem free for me. I did have many moments where I would try to do crazy things and found that the developers thought of that and added comical reactions in the game. I have also introduced this game to my mother and sister, who both are now looking forward to having fun trying this out more in depth in our next family gaming night. Perfect for any age and family fun. If you have VR and enjoy puzzles, this is an easy recommendation.

Fantastic game that's honestly worth it for the intro credits alone, lots of fun with other people watching and figuring it out cooperatively.

Really fun game. Good puzzles and the storyline and gags are corny, but great. Roger Moore meets Mr Bean! I am now half way through the second one.

A VR must have for all puzzle fans. I Expect You To Die (and its 2 sequels) are so much fun. The premise (a mini escape room in which almost every mistake kills you and sets you back to the beginning) may seem annoying, but you can't stop playing. Once you figure out the game mechanisms it becomes easier (but never too easy or boring) and it's fun to finish each challenge. The game is relatively short (expect 4-5 hours at maximum of gameplay, depending on how good you are at puzzles) but worth every penny, especially on sale.

It's cool, but very short. Aimed at seated VR only, but there's one spot in the final level where you have to stand up to press buttons. There are a couple of other obtuse puzzle steps, but other than that it's good. I'd recommend it on a sale.
