This is my first "idler" but as someone who has always loved the roleplay side of DnD this is actually a super fun game. There's several "Campaigns" that are quite extensive with surprisingly good writing - some laugh out loud moments and some nice, moustache-twirling villains. The "fan service" includes characters from the broader world of DnD - books, games, tabletop roleplay, cartoons - and is both well researched and integrates well into a broader world of Faerun. If you are patient, you need to spend absolutely NOTHING to play this game effectively and well. The developers are incredibly generous with free giveaways and are concentrating hard on improving the experience for new players. Sure, the in-game shop has things to speed up your game or fun costumes, but not only are they all 100% optional you can earn them for free over time. Everyday the devs give you a small amount of free "real money" currency so you are not left out. The game runs smoothly on PC and is just a fun, relaxing way to feel "productive" while also enjoying surprisingly good graphics and a catchy soundtrack. The devs are also active on social media, Twtich, and in charity streams so it's fun to see them lose/beat their own game. I highly recommend this as a fun way to kill time even if you're not an "idler" game fan. Give it a go, it will cost you absolutely nothing to get hooked. :)
