Neutral rating. It was fun for a few hours with my friend. A very basic, less violent GTA. Steal cars, pick-pocket, run missions. Take down the corrupt mayor and his cronies. You can buy businesses and complete their mini game missions to make money. You can also buy properties. Multiplayer is fun, but it sucks that only one person is making progress, the other player is just a 'helper' so they cannot buy business or properties. We also discovered a major bug. I was host, and every time my friend lost all his three lives, it froze the entire game and we had to alt+F4 to exit. All mission progress is lost and you have to restart. This was really bad in the final missions as they're pretty long. Fun for a few hours. Achievements are bad and multiplayer is not done well.

I am enjoying the game so far except for one big issue I have with a choice the developers made. My current game I am playing with 2 friends. Because of the dumb as sh!t saving system thats used, I cant play a singleplayer one on the side separately when Im bored and they arent around. Computers arent console cartridges, I should not be limited on number of different character save files... I need a game for playing with people and a game for playing by myself separately that dont interfere with my main game. Why are there no hard saves and its all based on these stupid autosaves!

Overall the game is pretty fun and it has a good sense of humour, but I think some strange choices have been made too. The game just needs more in my eyes. More businesses, more property, more clothes, more character customisation and more weapon variety. Also more car variety, there's just the same 4 models everywhere. NPC AI is also very jank when on the road, but I did have vehicle density on quality. There were traffic jams EVERYWHERE. It was pretty funny the first couple of times but they're really common. Combat is fun, movement is snappy, the housing system is overall really good and robust, wish I could paint the walls / floor though. The various side activities are good but it does also baffle me that the demo has the randomised side missions but the main game doesn't? This game is set to release this month and I do hope these issues are rectified. The game also can refuse to launch, citing some file returning a "2" which requires a file validation, which would get me to redownload the file but that wouldn't even work so I had to restart my PC. It worked after that. Overall 7/10 game currently, I'm enjoying it. Cool. They also kept the price the same after full release. Don't make bs claims that incentivise people to buy your EA game when they're not true.

This game is incredibly fun and extremely time consuming, albeit frustrating sometimes, too. There's a cool mix of looting, fighting, and small minigames when doing things like pickpocketing and stealing cars. But don't let the mention of minigames to do stuff turn you off; they're incredibly easy to master. I have yet to play with other people, but I plan on it. But if you don't have friends to play with, you'll still have a blast. You can easily 100% this game solo, friends just add to the wackiness of everything. Also, if you encounter any road barriers (especially in the tutorial) definitely go and jump into the side of them, you won't regret it!

I think this game is very well made and I can see the love just not for me. Frankly they did a fantastic job at making an indie GTA where there's activities and plenty of quests. I'm at an open world fatigue at the moment so can't continue personally but it's great and I can recognize that.
