I recently found this game for my Grandson and I to play together, He is 4 and I'm 64. I know there have been some negative comments about the play logistics, but we both found this game to be a blast to play. Between the announcer's commentary on the play by play, the flashy scenery, and the easy to understand controls, we both easily crossed he finish line. It's got great graphics and also attention to detail in all of the scenes. I think this will be a keeper in our favorite folder.

King Of Meat is a gem, a fun 3D Platforming CO-OP Dungeon Crawler like Party Game where it not only has the sport theme of Monday Night Combat, but the same type of humour. Sign me the f*** up. Within the first hour of playing I was having the time of my life with the cutscenes and build up to the game, learning the controls, the characters and the world King Of Meat takes place in, you can tell the developers, art team and voice actors had a lot of fun in this area, the game looks simple but in a very good way, it literally looks like an over the top gameshow you would see on a TV show or cartoon that supposed to parody gameshows such as Wipeout or the greatest gameshow to ever exist Takeshi's Castle, except it takes place in a medieval fantasy setting, I love the artstyle and graphics of the game. Gameplay wise it's a combination of what I said above, a 3D Platformer due to the deathrun like arenas, a Dungeon Crawler with all the enemies, fighting and 3rd person camera, a party game due to how crazy it gets, and CO-OP so you and 3 friends or randoms online can show the crowd who's the boss. There's ranks to get in levels to earn you more rewards by pleasing the crowd, you gain EXP and weapon EXP for doing challenges, buffing yourself for more dangerous arenas, and trust me, you're gonna need them this game goes from a fun ride into a brutal slaughterhouse. The game also has an amazing map creator, there is already a ton of custom maps as of writing, it's really well made. The game is pure chaos and I'm enjoying every minute of it, however I have a few issues I'd like to bring up. First is the price, I am more then happy for what I paid for, but I cannot say that for everyone however, because of this unless the game gets a super hardcore dedicated fanbase playing everyday and keeps boosting the game on Twitch and YouTube, which is NOT easy (trust me after 15 years on steam, I've only seen that work twice) I can easily see this game really struggle to get full matches unless you're with friends in the future, even at launch day and during the Early Access. I'm waiting ages to see just one person, and unless there is a future F2P launch, mega steam sale or Xbox Game Pass or Twitch Prime promotion, that will forever be a problem, the price is too high for most people, £23.95 is too high, £10 or £15 would have been so much better. Second unless I missed them, there seems to be no replay or quick join options, for example on the Mr Beast levels on launch, we get our a*ses kicked, and we could only move forward unless we left and redid the game there. And even then when I go to play, I have the options for playing custom levels, tutorials, and more, but no quickjoin option to join random games or lobbies looking for teammates, again I might have missed them, so if that's the case please make them more clear. Update 08/10/2025 So there is a quickplay button, I must have missed it, it's on the main section of the arena menu, I have been focusing on tutorial stuff + the Mr Beast event so I missed it, whoops! Third is the lack of I-frames or Invincibility Frames, in games such as this I-Frames are super helpful especially against numerous enemies, even if it's for 0.05 seconds it can make a difference, King Of Meat however lacks this so you can get obliterated in a blink of an eye, yea yea "diff me" all you want, but it's really difficult to learn and understand things where the best option (attacking) is basically off the table because if you do attack, you get Thano's Snapped out of the game in world record time. Oh and as well you can get wombo combo'd so easily, prime example I got knocked back by a spike, my character leaps straight into a hammer and gets flown across the map into a pit... listen it's funny but when you got to start a map ALL OVER AGAIN due to lack of checkpoints... THREE TIMES! It gets kinda old, I wouldn't mind it if the knockback gets reduced if you're hit or ragdolled already but still it's crazy so be cautious. Overall Despite my complaints, King Of Meat is a REALLY fun and well made game, it is a ton of fun and I highly recommend it.

Legit the most fun I've had playing a game (single player or multiplayer) in years. I really hope this games blows up bc it definitely deserves to be one of the biggest games of 2025. The graphics, combat, levels/dungeons, and progression system are all top notch. The ironic thing is this game is $30 and it's way better than most of the $60 and $70 games out there. Grab a friend or make some in game and have a blast!

This games is criminally overlooked. I know it's early access right now so I'm hoping for a surge when the release hits. Gameplay is fun and solid and the content seems pretty endless.

I feel like this is gonna be one of those games that gets overlooked because of the price or Amazon Best way I can put it is Little Big Planet meets Rachet and Clank You go through levels created both by the Devs and community, hacking, slashing and a bit of platforming too! So far my only complaint is being locked to 60fps and the humour can be a bit much for some. But gameplay itself, I like it, didn't think much of it when it was originally announced, played the technical test and fell in love with the concept
