My friend made a 20 minute presentation to me about why this is the best game ever and after playing it, they were absolutely right. The music slaps, the story made me cry (positive), the gameplay is so fun (feels oddly like the addicting wormhole minigame in Pokemon Moon), the visuals are stylish, the whole game feels like a love letter to the early internet ("dripping in Y2k nostalgia"), the characters are iconic, and did I mention that the story is amazing? I'm *obsessed*. Update: I hundred-percented the game (took about 20 hours) and like... Just kept playing and still enjoy every second of it. It's fun to be bad at and *really* fun to be mediocre at, lol. The community is so kind and fun and the creator is just a cool guy. I really want more people to enjoy this game, I really can't stress how favorite it is. If I may wax sappy (as if I wasn't already), this game helped me want to prioritize my friendships more and value the beauty of now, instead of hanging onto a past that feels more idylic than it actually was or banking on a future which will be better if only we blow up the whole internet, I SWEAR THIS TIME IT'LL WORK. 11/10. Please give it a shot.

Probably the most visually appealing game I've ever played, it just nails the y2k nostalgia thing totally. Every level is amazing to look at. The gameplay is tight and fluid but I recommend you use a controller and use DS4windows if you have a dualshock/sense because there doesn't seem to be native support for it with this game unfortunately. The whole gameplay loop is about flying through floating markers to a timer that ticks up and the faster your time the better the score, but most of the time trials aren't set courses through a level and are more just a smattering of markers in an area for you to get in any order, which is cool on paper but I wish the ratio of "planned course" trials to "collect all as fast as possible" trials were flipped. after you do all the trials on a level you get a boss and lemme tell you I hate the bosses and I would skip them if there were and option. It's a front facing dodge the obstacles thing but you're in a constrained circle that you can't see until you get to the edge of it so most often when you get hit it's because you're trying to dodge around a thing but can't because the edge you didn't know you were near is stopping you, sometimes there's nearly invisible ♥♥♥♥ that gets you and it all feels like something that would only really work well if there were a way to have depth perception, but there's no VR mode. To end on some high notes, the music is insanely good electronic techno/dnb/house, I would really reccommend picking up the soundtrack bundle because I'm gonna be listening to it while doing uni work from now on. The story and characters are really charming and funny and touching, and I wouldn't have bashed my head against the terrible bosses to get through it otherwise.

went in thinking this would be a silly webcore score attack game and left having experienced an ode to all the ways early internet was ravaged by capitalism and time, with the promise that things can be changed if people stand together to fix them don't forget to put a few points in toughness; you can't go fast if you keep bouncing off the walls

tldr; this game is the definition of SOVL it is a unique experience and is worth every X of your preffered currency. it's short, but filled with pure quality content and personality bought it because im obssesed with cats, considered quitting because i suck at racing games stayed for the funny/touching dialogues, relatable characters, webcore/Y2K aesthetics and satisfying music (jungle/breakcore/house/trance genres and more. probably never had a game align so well with my tastes) if you like CATS, early web vibes, electronic music and silly dialogues , stop wasting your time and GO PLAY KITTEN BURST RIGHT NOW !!
