RANDOM-RANDOM Knock Harder from Snail-Ninja Studio is a fresh look at the genre of zombie survival and simple 2.5D games. If the "spot the 10 differences" genre had evolved, then Knock Harder would certainly have been at the forefront of this movement. The game doesn't just stupidly suggest loot ammo and look for light sources. Here you need to rely on logic, intuition and a willingness to make mistakes. The player's task is to get out of the paranoid delirium caused by a parasite resembling a Half-Life headcrab and hold out until the end in the allotted time. ONLY IF YOU ARE SURE THAT EVERYTHING AROUND YOU IS REAL! What makes Knock Harder stand out from other Snail-Ninja Studio games? Firstly, it's an unusual combination of two different drawing styles. Secondly, different difficulty levels affect the gameplay, forcing the player to adapt to new conditions (and to the endings too, but as usual, like in Dead Rising - if you want to see everything, cut hardcore and go to the end). But the most important thing is a unique concept where you need to pay attention to every little thing, every speck of dust, every bullet and every reflection in order to distinguish reality from fiction and not kill the hero by mistake. This creates an atmosphere of constant tension and forces the brain to work at its limit. As a bonus, there are a lot of tricks in the game, about 160+ basic and 40+ side tricks, which adds to the variability. Personally, I liked the game, but there are drawbacks. Sometimes, due to flaws in the scripts, it is impossible to make the right decision. For example, you pick up batteries for a flashlight, but they are not in the inventory. Suicide seems like the logical way out, but it TURNS out to be reality. Such moments artificially stretch the passage and cause annoyance. Another example: one character says, "I'm his wife," and another claims that "we only met yesterday." This discrepancy is not immediately obvious, but it is still counted as a TRUE fact. Also, the music and sounds in the game are too quiet. (well, I'm sorry, I didn't play the game on the hard drive - I was frustrated by the so-called variety and constant running around trying to compare and contrast all the facts, and at other times I stupidly forgot about some, CONDITIONALLY, batteries that came out of nowhere, and I stupidly don't want to replay). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3571452871 Despite the above disadvantages, Knock Harder is an interesting and original game that can melt your brain in a good way. Try it, because there are achievements, cards, and Steam Cloud.

A twisted yet intriguing short puzzle game, depending on your difficulty level. The rules are deceptively simple: You MAY or MAY NOT be in a dream at any given moment. Parasite-driven humans will hunt you down, but they're relatively easy to dispatch, and you'll gain ammo along the way to deal with them. The real challenge lies in discerning whether you're dreaming or not. You need to pay attention to every small detail—if anything seems off, subtle or obvious, and you're absolutely sure you're dreaming, the only way out is to shoot yourself in the head. If you're right, you leave the dream. If you're wrong, well... you just blew your own head off. Oops. It's a fun experience that can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, and it offers three different difficulty levels for replayability. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys psychological mind games and "mindscrew" type challenges! It's a unique experience that's short but definitely memorable.
