A very enjoyable experience overall, though i honestly feel it wouldve been nearly impossible without using some kind of guide especially during the fifth part. The lore is genuinely interesting and everything is well connected, which makes the story rewarding to follow. Around the third part i expected things to become simpler, but was quickly proven wrong. All things considered, its a solid game with a lot of thought clearly put into its design.

Started the game having no clue what the hell to do. Then I found out you could strip the characters—so I went full maniac and undressed all four of them. Threw the whole naked squad onto one bed, things got real wild real quick—bed was shaking like an earthquake! Then outta nowhere, that rag-wearing psycho killer decided to crash the party. Boom—massacre. All four of them died in the same damn spot. 10/10 game of the year!

Easily one of my favorite games, played it when I was a teenager when it first came out. Its got all the fun you'd want from a game seeking to emulate the thrills of the slasher genre; playing as adorable pixel characters as you are pitted against nigh unstoppable killers, roaming through cannibal households, hiding from supernatural menaces, and there's a really cool alien level. The music is also absolutely enjoyable. You want cute violence? Sick soundtracks, and an even sicker gaming experience? Then pick this up you sicko. Sidenote: The developer is so chill and gave me the sequel game Lakeview Valley for free basically. The only real issue with anyone Lakeview games is the replay value gets low after a while. But it takes a while to even get there in the first place.
