Spent 10 hours in a free simulator before getting this. The difference is night and day, and now I'm using a high quality Radiomaster controller. After less than 5 hours I can fly inside of a house and under chairs. I feel like a natural, and this game is making learning very inexpensive. I plan on getting my first drone after 30 hours of simulator time. Keep making this game awesome!

I took my first FPV steps with this game. I was able to pick up my first tiny whoop and avoid loosing/breaking it the first time i took it out and I thtink this game really helped with that.

Just wanted to shout out the map designers for the most recent watermelon playground map. Such a chill, comfy, and colorful place to fly a tinywhoop around. As for the rest of the game, it's great. Feels a bit "floaty" like Liftoff does, but it will help you build the muscle memory you need to fly IRL. I wish the sounds were a bit more detailed. TRYP nailed the sounds of 5-inch quads, and I think you could do a little better with motor sounds for these tiny whoops. This has no impact on the flying experience though.

Love it! I have quite a few sims, but this is the only whoop specific one. Honestly I think Tryp feels the most real in terms of "drop rate". Meaning when your throttle is all the way down, the drone drops fast. More akin to irl in my opinion, which tbh should be taken lightly because I do not own a full size quad, nor have I ever flown anything but a whoop. That said, I've spent 60+ hours in the regular liftoff, 60+ in acceladrone (or w/e it's called), and 40-ish in Tryp. I'm at 30hrs in liftoff micro now, and I just love it. Can't fully tell ya why. Beacuse they're micros, they are twitchy, sensitive to throttle, and generally difficult to control. That translates to higher skill acquisition per hour imo. The key is to get started with the easy courses with big curves, wide turns, and then try the courses with ever tighter cornering. All that said, even with about 200hrs in the various sims, I still don't feel comfortable flying my lil whoop around humans. I'm almost there, but I think I need another 30-40 hours, Plus the IRL flying I do when I can. NOTHING can replace real life stick time. I just don't have the ability to do it very often personally so sim time is better than nothing.
