Don't buy this for the gameplay. Buy it for the humour, the beautiful environments, and the great soundtrack. I had 4 absolutely hilarious hours with it. The ending didn't bother me, I felt it fits the story. Gameplay is light platforming, light stealth, light quick time events and light chase sequences. I found it very approachable and chill.

it was fun, pretty easy and simple game to follow. if you are looking for any kind of challenge then this is not the game for you. fun story though just make sure you turn on subtitles if you don't understand Russian accents.

It is not a strong recommend but overall I had a good time with it. Just do not expect anything innovative or amazing. It's an okay game. I sometimes like linear simple relaxing games and this was exactly that. I enjoyed the bonus episode the most, so if you finish the game I recommend checking it out.

I really don’t understand the negative reviews. This game is a beautiful masterpiece. The environment is breathtaking, vast, beautiful, and designed in a way that makes you feel small within a grand world. The story is wonderfully crafted, filled with exciting and several funny moments. It also supports many languages, including right-to-left ones like Arabic. I played it in Arabic, and the translation is excellent! The only drawback is the presence of a few bugs, such as falling through a platform or getting stuck. However, the save system is extensive, so you barely lose any progress when glitches happen.

Little Orpheus is a fun, comedic 2D platformer filled with whimsy and keeps you coming back for more. You play as Ivan Ivanovich, a man that had been missing for three years and is being interrogated by a general about the whereabouts of the bomb he had been sent to the center of the earth with. Every chapter is a new story that sounds outlandish and wild, but is somehow connected in the grand scheme of it all. It's as if Journey to the Center of the Earth became a side-scrolling platformer game. The game kept my interest the entire time, despite it's outlandish story-telling, and I found all the plot-twists to be comedic and fun. One of my favorite things about the game was the little intro the devs designed to play at the beginning of every episode, and it made me feel like I was a part of a TV show of sorts. It was cute and fun, and I loved watching it every time. The music added to the outlandish and comedic style, adding different tones throughout all the different stories and making it feel just like a fairytale being told. It never felt overwhelming or took away from the gameplay, and I loved listening to the soundtrack. The artstyle itself was vibrant and detailed, and I loved seeing just how much every scene varied from one another. From the fauna and life of the forest to the inside of the whale, every detail was placed meticulously and I thought it was very beautiful. My favorite scenes were from the ocean floor with all the various sea life and corals. By playing this game, it is very clear the developers enjoyed designing this game and they wanted people to experience it. Going on to the achievements, I would say they were somewhat easy to get. Half of the achievements could easily be gotten from playing the game itself, which is always appreciated, and the others were gotten by replaying the levels to get memories of sorts and you could get special skins based on those. All achievements can easily be gotten within about 15 hours of gameplay, which I think is very feasible. I will say that most of the game went by without a hitch, and I loved every moment. However, Chapters 7 and 8, as wonderful as they were, did have some glitches that made it difficult to play. On multiple occasions I would have to close out the game and reboot it because it would either get stuck and wouldn't scroll to the next area, or it would be stuck in a perpetual death scene. Despite the issues that caused, the rest of the gameplay was fine and went without issue. Just keep in mind while playing that those chapters can have issues and it is definitely not your computer having issues. Overall, I think this game is wonderful and was worth every penny I had spent on it. The beautiful graphics, the wonderful storytelling, and the gameplay itself was worth every moment I had played. I highly recommend playing it, especially if you like story-rich games.
