An Excellent Debut of a RTS-Lite Franchise. Recommended 8/10 What's Great [*]Spicy scenes are artistically drawn with watercolor-like illustrations. [*]Characters are beautiful with shading and details. [*]Gameplay mechanics are a simple and solid Suikoden-Style RTS. [*]Very good value for money. What's Good [*]Hard mode was actually challenging. [*]Voice-acting was surprisingly well done. [*]The Game is really well paced, neither too soon nor too late. What's Not [*]Story is average. [*]Characters are forgettable if they didn't look good. [*]They didn't stick the landing. Chapter 7 is just recycled levels but harder. I didn't expect much when I bought this game since is was cheap. Turns out, this is a very solid mini RTS that you can spend a weekend just playing through and finish in 1 sitting. And for the price you pay, you get about, eh~, 7 hours of simple but fun Suikoden army battles sprinkled with spicy content here and there. And the spicy content is surprisingly well made. The characters are drawn in detail; shadows, skin-shading, falling beads of sweat, various facial expressions and all in a watercolor-like texture that makes the scene look like a painting. It looked like someone put effort in making it look good. On top of that, the Japanese voice-acting is surprisingly above-average, giving the spicy scenes a little extra immersion. And they don't simply give you the spicy stuff all the time; you need to earn for the good stuff and the game paces you well enough to motivate you to continue playing. Job well done. Unfortunately, that motivation won't last till the end. By chapter 7, you could feel the developers ran out of ideas and just simply resort to Boss Rush levels. On Hard Mode the challenge is significant but it's recycled material at this point. The good thing is, there are extra Spicy Content if you complete it. The story is nothing to shout about, although I do like the twists you get in the later chapters. Otherwise you can simply skip the whole story without consequence because really, the characters are one-dimensional with no substance other than they are drawn and are voiced really well. If you get this game on sale or on a Bundle, you won't feel too burned if you end-up not liking it but as a game, Hero By Chance is a solid 7 hour romp. Recommended 8/10
Hero by chance is a war game with a cute little story. In this game you can upgrade your units to make them better in fights, also there is abilities that you can use. Once you have finished the game in normal mode I'd recommend using FAP mode which is fun. The game does feature some interesting scenes with girls. I would recommend this, but can get boring over time. 6/10
I did not expect much from this game at all but wow was i pleasantly surprised! It plays like a clone of the old flash game "Age of war" but with more depth and arguably more challenge too. Actually impressive and fun game on its own with some decent although lackluster hentai stuff. VERY good value on sale, very fun gameplay.
