I'm a fan of mech games, so I am supporting the dev. However, this is a very early access title with very limited content. I just started a fresh game and finished all of the missions in 2 1/2 hours. Do not purchase this game expecting a full game right now. This is more like a demo at the moment.

I loved the demo and the early access is very promising. There is not a massive amount here currently, but the basics are fun and work well. The main areas I see for improvement/feature wishlist are: 1. Build variety. The lack of health regen, stealth or unique traits on frames means that there isn't really a reason to pick anything other than the heaviest mech with the biggest guns. Id love to see some sort of unique ability or trait for each frame, eg activate a shield, teleport/jump a short distance, unique wierd weapons. Giving some lighter frames a dash or sprint ability could help make them more viable and help them avoid getting hit. 2. The cooldowns on abilities feel a bit long, particularly with enemies coming constantly. I think it would be easier to manage them if some enemies dropped cooldown reducing items, if enemies came in waves, or if there was a way to temporarily escape from enemies while your abilities cool down. 3. I enjoy a good simple top down shooter, and I understand if it is out of scope, but I think a bit more of a story to string the missions together would be nice. I don't need 4k cutscenes or anything, but some recurrent NPCs talking about the missions and occasionally showing up as allies in missions would liven up things a bit. 4. I think more mission types would be nice, particularly some without infinite enemies, or where you can avoid/disable the reinforcements. Throw in a heavily defended radio relay to destroy, scanners to avoid, or a mini boss to defeat that will disable reinforcements. 5. I want bigger railguns, give me a mech or a tank with a ridiculous spinal mount railgun that has to run and hide while the big gun is recharging.

Has a lot of potential, definitely looking forward to new updates and the higher tiers. My only real gripes are that the scenes can feel a bit dead at times, could be livened up with foliage/critters ect to give more life to the maps. and second being that we're a one man army, which is fine in its own right but it feels like the player is the only mech on our side, maybe there could be some characters piloting allied mechs/tanks ect or even some missions where we have a base and need to defend it. With that being said this has a solid foundation with nice visual destruction. Cant wait to see the full game. Just some food for thought but a workshop integration would certainly add a lot to the game. Community made content keeps games going for a long time. would be cool to see player made mechs/weapons and stories.

Game is fun, although short lived currently. Beat every mission available in 3 hours. Weapon and chassis needs balancing as I feel like some aren't worth considering. Enemy design is nice and all feel different enough. They also force some weapon variety on you, because otherwise you get overwhelmed. Hope the will be new content soon.
