In Morphblade you move around a grid slicing, smashing and bursting waves of nasty red bugs. Each tile you move to transforms you into a different weapon: on a Blades hex you can slice enemies on either side of you, on an Arrow you can launch yourself through two enemies in a row.

Morphblade is a neat little game! I'm surprised it's a desktop game, honestly - its tight design, minimal aesthetic, and pick-up-and-play nature makes it feel more designed for portable play. Still, it's a nice 15-minute palate-cleanser. I've been going between a 6 and a 7 on it, but I think more games could stand to be this aerodynamic. 7/10

6/10 For 5 dollars this is a good 2 hours of fun, I got up to wave 30. Would be better as a phone game.

it's fun for playing in short bursts now and again, but, i'm not sure if i'd recommend it for anything beyond that. for what it is, it's still cool, though.

Very fun little game, You can definitely get really good at this and last VERY long, but I really wish they made it more obvious how you can right-click on tiles to see their current and potential abilities. For the longest time I thought you could ONLY see the abilities while you were choosing new tiles or upgrading, and it was VERY hard to plan, and I had to try and make paper lists of the abilities - later on I discovered you could right-click to remind you what the abilities are.
