There's something about this game that scratches some sort of itch. At the very core of it all, the game is very simple. You control a tank from a top-down, isometric view. You pick a tank, you shoot enemies, pick up their weapons, and then shoot them even more. After every mission, you get to buy power-ups and you can kill enemies even faster. Its simple. But I think that's what makes it so fun. Its simple. Very reminiscent of those flash games you'd play as a kid. That being said, there's a bit of depth to the game play. You can experiment with all the buffs and tank types and whatnot and mix-and-match what you think will work for you. Slap on some armour on your Tortoise and become a literal wall. Or, put on some speed buffs and your Greyhound'll run laps around the enemy. Once you're done and got an optimal build, go try out the hard modes for some real pain. Oh, there's no story. Not any that I could find. I guess you got isekai-ed so hard you end up in a tank class (???) with some anime cat girls or something. No story to guide you through the string of missions that you play through. Just pure chaos and violence. The art is nice though. The characters are nicely drawn, though there's no voice lines so you get thrown the same few lines of dialogue every session. So how does this game play out? First, you pick a tank. Buy it, unlock it. Then you start off a 'run', where you go through a string of missions with 3 bosses (they are the same for every 'run') in the midst of it all. You pick up weapons from dead enemies (random drop chance), and buy upgrades every round. You do get to pick various perk trees that imbue buffs that are persistent before you enter the matches. Then you go at it. It does get repetitive after a while, but its good for a session or two for shits and giggles. There's a bunch of hard modes where the enemies get buffed to shit (kinda cheesy) too to unlock stuff. There's a sizeable roster of vehicles to pick from too. Sturmtigers, Pershings, the damned Karl-Gerat. Something for everyone. Anyways what a rant. Shit's longer than the game itself. Recommended. Don't expect too much out of it and have fun. Love me tanks. Love me cannons. Love me shooting things. Simple as.

It has been a considerably long time since I've played a "tank game" that actually brought me joy and amusement like this game does - instead of anxiety and frustration. The developer clearly cares about the game being fun.

Fun game but 3 problems 1. Lowest graphic setting = HIGHEST LIGHT AND SHADE WTF 2. Lags whenever too much enemy tanks spawn at the same time 3. When you shoot enemy tank at point blank range, the shell will go through the enemy tank (no damage, just went through)
