An amazing title that takes me back to that fast and furious type of vibe which I feel like belongs in the Need for Speed franchise. Game is amazing so far story wise and gameplay. Drifting in this game is the best hit of dopamine I get all day and characters are tolerable throughout the duration of the story. Grinding is not to bad because tracks are creative and cars customizability is decently good. Police in the game are very fun to go up against and the crashouts of cop cars have a little cutscene that comes with it with is a nice touch, crashing yourself feels very realstic do to the impact physics this game has. Gameplay feels amazing to start with, Driving on the road feels sturdy and the vehicle feels very grounded and steady. Dirt roads feel satisfying due to how driftable the dirt can be. Overall I give this game a 9 out of 10 if you looking to kick back and have fun driving in Vegas.

NFS Payback is a mixed bag. The gameplay is fun , and the heist missions are some of the best in the series , but everything else? Not so much. - Story? Absolute garbage. Cringe dialogues, predictable plot, just skip the cutscenes. - Token system, Pure RNG. Grinding for upgrades is a nightmare and not worth the effort. - No open-world cops. A massive letdown for longtime NFS fans. - Cop chases? Too easy. Unlike the past NFS games where cops were actually a challenge, here they're pushovers. - Car damage? Non-existent. Feels like a step backward. - Graphics? Decent. But customization options are lacking. - Overall? Way too easy. No real challenge, just flashy action sequences. If you’re here for arcade style racing and fun heists, you might enjoy it. But if you’re looking for the thrill of classic NFS cop chases or deep customization, you’ll be disappointed. 6/10 – Fun but forgettable

Do yourself a favor, and play it with the Unite 1.2 mod. It makes the handling much better, the drifting more engaging, and the cops more ruthless. It also removes the random speed cards and allows you to buy the ones you want directly from the store, just like you'd buy parts in any other game. As soon as that speed card system is out, the game becomes much more enjoyable. Definitely worth it when on sale.

Need For Speed Payback might be the best NFS title of the last decade after Heat. The game got almost everything. Especially the story was good. For me, this is the only game after Most Wanted 2005 that has a decent story. All that rival races, the factions, trash talks, inclusion of more characters everything adds up. Graphics are good, apparently i don't see a major difference when compared to Heat in terms of graphics. The only thing the game don't have is better cop system. There is no cops patrolling and no cop chases except for unmissable story missions also you can avoid cops with your eyes closed there is no challenge. Story 9/10 Graphics 8.5/10 Soundtracks 8.5/10 Gameplay 9/10 Physics 8.5/10 Overall a fun action packed Need for speed, 8.5/10
