10/10 Nobody Saves the World is pure, unhinged joy!! 1 min I’m a rat nibbling ankles, the next minute I’m a Bodybuilder drop-kicking monsters or a magician pulling bunnies out of his hat! The absurd combos possible and dungeon chaos are just the reason to play this game. Truly the most fun I’ve ever had being Nobody

Overall 7.5/10*** (WITH NOTES BELOW) Note 1: NOT including DLC, very annoying an extra $5 paywall (for 100% anyway) for what amounts to a puzzle gauntlet, two more forms, and some in-game cash; which, by the time you get to it, you won't need. Note 2: ALSO NOT NG+. Clearing 99% of Achievements in base game just to find "Beat NG+" as a lazy final one almost made this a negative review. Pointless because of how little NG+ actually changes, even a 4hr speedrun is too long. ---- To Actual Review ---- Nobody Saves the World is a greatly unique action dungeon-crawl rpg. The build customization is immense and entirely in the players' hands, with dungeons and sidequests forcing innovation and making you try ideas you may not have thought of naturally. Doing the form-specific quests to level them up and unlock new abilities is very rewarding, and again the later challenges impress a need for creativity and cross-mixing forms to really dive into what each form can do. The story line is simple but entertaining, and the world is large enough to feel new without being overwhelming. TLDR: Get just the base game on sale, don't bother with NG+. Pretty good.

A quirky shape shifting adventure Rating ★★★★☆ I really enjoyed my time with this game. The diversity of build options is very creative. It lets you transform into various forms, ranging from a rat to a necromancer, and all kinds of options in between, each with unique abilities that can be mixed and matched to suit your play style or just for amusement. The art style and vibe of this game are very comical, and I knew within minutes of starting up the game that I was going to have a fun time. It reminded me a little of ''Cult of the Lamb'' but the combat here is far better. The story is decent and doesn't take itself too seriously.

Beautiful art, checklist game design. If you want a game that fills 5-20 minutes at a time, you will have fun. There is depth and character, but combat feels monotonous.
